Ok ladies.....
I know it's early and all that, but pour yourself something, ANYTHING, to calm yourself before you read this (hey, I've been a lawyer long enough to know that THAT was a sufficient liability release ).
I've been testing a new C serum for Candy. She can tell you more about the formula, but basically, it's a high octane mix of MAP, AA, and tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. At first, I was going to do a half face test with this on one side and my Super Serum on the other. But after the first couple of days, the results with this stuff was so totally off the charts that I couldn't help myself and have been slathering it all over my face and neck. I have NEVER NEVER NEVER used anything that produced such immediate results!
It's a thick serum, and you don't need alot of it (well, YOU don't - I DO cause I want to slather it alllllllll over by body). Most C serums have that slightly greasy feel to them. True, it usually goes away after a moment or two, but any C user knows what I mean. Obviously, I love Vit C, and it wouldn't dissuade me if it did, but this stuff just doesn't have it. It has a truly luxurious feel to it. Immediately upon application my skin looked absolutely amazing!
As you all know, I've been an avid user of ISC products for quite some time. As a result, the effectiveness of my Active Serum / Firming Complex nightime combo has given me skin that is as close to poreless as I thought possible. But, I have to say - better was possible! My skin looks absolutely airbrushed with this stuff. Firm, poreless, truly gorgeous....
Right now, I'm using it over my Super Serum, just because I have a religious commitment to the Super Serum. Well, actually, its more than that... I thought this potion was awesome when I used it on one side of my face without the SS. When I put it on top of the SS, it was awesome to the next degree. But, I absolutely have no reservation about asserting that if use this stuff all by itself, the results will blow you away.
If you're REALLY REALLY nice to Officer Candy, you might just convince her to start selling this stuff over at candessence.com. If she's reluctant, offer her a bribe. It's legal |

Id really like to try the C Serum but i think she charges too much for shipping International. Comes up to $17 au just for shipping. I only want a sample first to try and it would end up about $28 Au just for a 5ml sample
I sent a sample to a member recently to the US and it only cost me $2 something to send to her! So i dont know if US postage is dearer or what... |
Well I just sent something to another "state" in the US, normal mail, $5.95! So yes from here to anywhere is more! Oh and it was very light package and small. Hope that helps you understand what our postal service is here. Candy does not tack on extra money on shipping, ever...in fact the shipping bar on my packages, is always about .20cents more than what I paid.. |

That is really good.
I would like to try Candy's new lip product but am reluctant to pay $17 (AU) for shipping.
I know that it is there as a protection with weight on larger orders. However, most smaller companies I buy from only charge me what it costs them in shipping and packaging which I really appreciate. |
Ladies, ladies, ladies!!!
Hear ye, hear ye ! (
I live in the U.S., and sometimes, when I order from Candy, the shopping cart software that she uses sends the postage thru the roof. It does the same thing for international orders. It has been addressed in several other threads and it keeps coming up. Unfortunately, Candy's ethics keep her from posting a big bold post clarifying the point.
If you make a purchase from her, and the shopping cart sends the s & h rate out of wack, all you have to do is put a note in the designated PayPal area calling it to her attention. More often than not, she catches it and issues refunds without people even asking, but since the addition of new products always sends her orders thru the stratosphere, I'd just call it to her attention to be safe.
The fact is, her prices are so far below what is charged for comparable products that I'd be willing to pay the high postage. It's just that if the money is going to go in someone's pocket, my preference would be that it NOT go into the pocket of the USPS, at least not until they manage to find some reasonably civil people to work in my local post office! |

I think you should've emailed Candy about it havana. I ordered in late dec/early jan and I emailed her instead of going through her site and asked whether shipping would be cheaper to Canada. She told me it would be 5USD if she can fit it all into a Global Priority envelope - I ended up ordered her Encore hand cream, HA and Triple C and paid that 5 dollars of shipping. However I wouldn't know how much it would cost if you made a larger order. |
