Hi Bira - I think that the colored one is the same formulation as the clear . For me it works as well . What I would recommend is to buy the gold color i think that is called TINSEL TOWN
It will give you the nice plumping effect and the color is just a bit of shine after a couple of minutes is blended on your lips
