I decided to try this after reading a very brief comment someone made here to someone else's very brief review  The product intrigued me and the fact that someone said they had used it for a few years I thought "well, it must be OK if they used it that long"...
So, let me start by immediately giving this product  (out of a possible 5)
I have been using this for the last six weeks and I have to say it is one product that I don't think will be leaving my routine any time soon!!
Price & Packaging:
I got mine from Sephora when they had the 20% off sale, so it was a BARGAIN. Regular price at Sephora is about $65 I think. Size 30ml / 1 oz in a blue color glass jar with metal pump top. Simple but beautiful packaging.
Texture & Smell:
They call this a dry oil. I find that one pump is more than enough to do the face, neck and decollage. It absorbs quite quickly and thoroughly into the skin. It has a very light fragrance, not one that I would say is beautiful, but very natural and it kinds of grows on you. after a while.
Useage & Results:It is only used at night (eye area to be avoided the box says), on clean skin and under additional moisturizer (if necessary). Many nights I find this is more than enough on its own, but sometimes I put a light night cream on top if the air is particularly dry.
In the last 6 weeks I have had a marked improvement in the texture and glow of my skin (as mentioned in another post this resulted in a friend I had not seen for a while commenting on how beautiful my skin looked). I also started using Vit. C + Vit. B serum (cellex-c) during the day and I think the combination of the two has been just remarkable. I have also noticed that my skin looks so much better when I wake up in the morning. My skin does not look as tired or drawn; rather, it looks plump and moist with a nice glow.
Gab from the box (about the product): Immortelle grows abundantly on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea and is exceptionally long-lived; it never wilts, even after being picked. Used for centuries, Immortelle flowers produce an essential oil that stimulates circulation and enhances cell renewal.
Elixir is a dry oil of 100% vegetal origin. Immortelle essential oil, combined with other plant oils and vitamin E, improves skin's texture and enhances skin's regeneration.
When applied the skin is immediately softer and re-invigorated. The face will retain its freshness and youthful appearance.
Apply every evening on the face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Can be used on its own or for maximum effect before applying the Precious Cream or the Essential Lotion.

I would agree with the above 150%. So why does it get and not 5? Well, there always has to be room for improvement!! It is not like it has turned me into someone with porcelain doll totally flawless skin (I mean, is there ANYTHING out there that will do that in 6 weeks?), but it it gets a solid because it has been very effective (it does what it says it will do) and if it maintains this level of effectiveness I will be a very happy camper. I am just hoping that I will be able to use it through Tokyo's hot and humid summer (though we always sleep with aircon on dry air throughout the night)
