Shopper's Drug Mart is having a special called the "Secret Thursday Event" on June 1st.
Register online at their website with your optimum card number, print off coupon to redeem June 1st on a $50 or more purchase & receive 20X optimum points.
Now, if I have the next part correct...you will then receive a $100 off redemption coupon by email next week that can be used on June 10th & 11th. If I got this wrong, someone please let me know.
BTW, their website is super slow, so be patient. |

Speaking of Shoppers ... I just received in the mail today a free Venus Divine razor from Shoppers Drug Mart! It said on the box that it was "A Shopper Optimum Member Exclusive". I wonder how they decided who to ship them to? Either way, it's super cool, because it just happens to be a razer that I already use and love! |

Thanks Yen. I thought it sounded too good to be true. Will be going there today, maybe I can get enough points to take advantage of that coupon for next week. |

Ruth- I'm usually envious of those living in the U.S.-they get so many great freebie offers!
Tidieu- I'm thinking about Prevage or MMU, but I feel so broke after my last EDS order! |

I was thinking about Prevage too. Do you if they sell Prevage MD or EA Prevage and the price? The EA Prevage is only .5%! Anything else worth buying? |

If "EA" stands for Elizabeth Arden, that's the one they sell. From what I understand, it's 50% the strength of MD. I thought it might be best to try the weaker version first. What do you think?
As far as other things to get:
moisturizing gel booties are fabulous for dry feet. It's their own Life brand, spa line. They also have gloves with the gel lining. I have them too but don't use them as much as the booties.
Mineral make-up: read some good reviews about it here, might be worth a try.
That's all I can think of right now. I'm kind of in the same boat as you- not sure what to buy. Pretty sure that will change once I get there! |

kls- Yes, "EA" stands for Elizabeth Arden. Some people like it, some don't. I am not sure what to do.
The moisturizing gel booties sound good. I think I need that since I have dry feet. Maybe, I'll get the glove too.
I may get some Quo brushes too. I heard that they are quite good. |

The gel booties are the best thing I found for dry feet, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. They work best if you walk around on them, helps the moisturizer sink into the skin. They suggest wearing them 3-4 times a week for @45 minutes. They're suppose to last around 3 months & can be gently washed. They cost $35, but I've gotten them on sale a few times for 30% off. Like I said, I don't use the gloves very often (but I should), it's just that I have a tough time not doing anything with my hands for that long! The sales lady at SDM told me she has a friend who loves them, they really help her cracked cuticles.
You mentioned Quo brushes. Do they compare with other brands like MAC? I would really like some new brushes, thanks for the suggestion. I don't think we're going to have any problems spending our money today! |

I don't know how they compare to MAC since I have not used them, I just heard that they are quite good. I am not sure about not doing anything with my hands for that long either. |

I don't have any MAC brushes either (or should I say yet!), but have heard they're quite nice. Most of my brushes are EL, BE & Lauren Hutton.
I can't recall if SDM carries Lise Watier (I know London Drugs does). I bought her eyeliner brush which I really like. It's flat, chiseled & stiff enough to get in between the lashes. |

Yes, they do carry Lise Watier but not every store. If her eyeliner brush is like that then I have to get it. Is it expensive? Does it have a number like MAC brushes? I just want to make sure I get the right one. |

Hello!
So I went for it and got my $100 free with 40,000 point redeemed for next weekend.
Its a pretty good deal actually - I think I'll indulge in Clarins products and the gel booties sound good too!
Today I bought Biotherm products for my husband (cleanser and moisturizer for T-Zone oily skin), misc. household products that I needed, and Lise Watier Portfolio which is a camouflage wheel to highlight, hide imperfections. I also go the manicure pen to clean up nail polish mistakes.
I'm pretty satisfied with my purchases today and looking forward to spending "free money" next weekend!
Also - I have some of the Quo brushes, and I find the quality comparable to MAC. I use the CoverFX brush cleaner - $12 a bottle. Its pretty good and has tea tree oil in it to kill bacteria. |

Good stuff puglove! I didn't bother signing up for the event. I spend way too much at Shoppers already. I've already redeemed $75 in products four times since they started the Optimum program. |

So I went to Shoppers this afternoon & bought Prevage. That was exactly the amount needed for 40,000 points. Hopefully I won't have any horror stories to tell about using it this next week!
Tidieu- I can't remember how much the Lise Watier brush was, sorry. And I don't see any number on it either. It has white bristles if that helps.
Puglove- thanks for the info on Quo brushes & cleaner. These will definitely be on my list for next weekend! |

kls - Do we need any coupon for next week?
I just realized that I forgot to get the Lise Watier brush and the brush cleaner after reading your post. I could not find the brush and was going to ask the SA when she's free. In the end, I paid for my stuff and forgot to ask her.
I did not buy Prevage. I bought Clarins and RoC Peel-Ex. Let me know how you do with Prevage. |

tidieu, when you make your purchase, they are suppose to give you another coupon to redeem next week. Either that, or log on onto their website to see if you can print one off there.
HTH! |

Tidieu- when I was at Shoppers & asking the SA all kinds of questions about this event, she said that I should have gotten an email with the coupon after I registered. I went home & looked at my mail. There was one from Shoppers thanking me for registering, but no coupon. I looked at what it says on their site, and it looks like we're suppose to get an email this coming week that contains the coupon. Kinda confusing when we keep getting different answers. All I know is I better be getting that coupon! |

I hope they sent us the coupon because the SA did not give me any coupon! |

I just spent $50.00 at Shoppers Drug Mart and I received a printed sheet (coupon) from the SA. I can redeem 40000 points for $100.00 on Jun 10th or Jun 11th.
Just go towww.shoppersdrugmart.ca to register and print the certificate for shopping today. You have to spend over $50.00 (today only) and you will get 20x points. You also will receive the coupon for redeeming points.
Some of the shops close at midnight. |

Tidieu- I can't believe my restraint: I decided not to open the Prevage until I have the coupon, otherwise it's getting returned. This is so unlike me! |

kls- That's great! I will try not to open mine too. I was too tired yesterday otherwise I would have opened it.
Maybe we should call the store or send an email to SDM inquiring about the coupon. |
