I've tried many lip balms, but I always go back to the classic Palmer's Cocoa Butter formula w/ vitamin E that's in a swivel stick. I've been using it for 8 yrs. It is the best, and it's CHEAP, you can get it at any drug store in the U.S. and it has that yummy cocoa butter chocolate smell to it! Your lips aren't greasy afterwards. The cocoa butter and vitamin E are very moisturizing and healing. And because it's packaged in a thick stick, you can also use it on your body. This is one product that I always carry everywhere. Another plus is that it's not tested on animals either. |

Mental note: must check if these are available in Australia.
I don't think I've seen them here before but I love their moisturisers so I've gotta give this a try. How big are they? I'm guessing you're talking about something larger than a regular lip balm stick? |

I see it there all the time everytime I go shopping for my beauty supplies at London Drugs, my favorite local drugstore, Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm, but I never gave it any thought, maybe because of its less sparkling package. Guess I should not judge a beauty ptd by its ...uhm...container! Will get one tomorrow! Thanks, thoughtcrime! |

Hi Mabsy, it is bigger than say a chapstick, but still small enough to fit in your hand. They have a website you can order if it's not in your local drugstore. |

Goody!! If it smells the same as the Cocoa Butter body lotion I'm sold! Will check it out this week.
Thanks for the tip (and this is where I inform you that my Decleor lip balm is mighty angry with you for introducing it some competition LOL).

I especially stopped by a chemist this morning (and thus was late to work ) to get this. They pretty much had everything in the Palmer's range apart from the lip balm. I've checked though and the lip balm *IS* available here, just not at that chemist
Will have to check out another one on the weekend. For now the Decleor one is where it's at |

My fav lip balm is still the Vaseline Intensive Therapy one since it's the only one my lips aren't allergic to. Really sad! |

I wish I could love it, too. Justin was so kind to send me a tube to try, but my lips are allergic to it. They're still smarting over that, and it's been almost a week now that I tried it. I hate how my lips are allergic to everything under the sun except for the vaseline lip balm, and can tolerate the Body Shop lipstick ONLY IF I put it right on top of the Vaseline lip balm, and remember to wash it off well before I go to bed. Life sucks for me when it comes to lip products. |

I use the Burt's Bees, but I'm intrigued with the Palmer's. I'm going to look into that one. |

I ALWAYS go back to Softlips French Vanilla. Whenever I see a new lip balm I always pick it up, but I rarely repurchase it and end up going back to Softlips. |

I vote Kiehl's #1 lip balm, very cost-effective. Burt's Bees is good too |
