Correct. Blue/green and not white. I just tried to find the post from them, but my trigger finger has deleted it - I'm sure that's what it said though. Maybe it shifts from white to colour as it "ages". Strange, eh? |
Yes, most definitely very strange! |

i also received a travel size eye cream from tsc as well at spalook that was blue and waxy. i thought it was normal to be waxy and not emulsify easily. after reading this forum (thank you!!!) i called mlab the other day to which they informed me that the cream should not be that texture and that they r had issues with the lids which was allowing oxygen in and "aging" the cream. they are promptly sending me two new travel size creams wiht samples and have infomred me to stop using the eye cream. It is suppose to be blue green in color and is suppose to be fluffy. |

Within 2 days of my speaking with M Lab about the odd eyecream, UPS delivered a new full size replacement jar along with a package that has a decent size sample of, what seems, their entire line. Absolutely amazing customer service.
The eye cream is a pale, pale blue/green and is a fluffy smooth texture. This is very different than the dark coloured, hardened cream (gel-like) item that I questioned. Anyway, here goes the test.....I'll keep you informed. |

I would really like to know when they changed the formula, why they changed the formula and what are the differences between the old and the new. |

Wow! I've been following this thread with interest and am so impressed by this. It's fantastic when a company provides such excellent customer service. |

I agree. There are a few companies that go 'above and beyond' and they should be noted. ISC sent me a full bottle of active serum by courrier after mine evaporated on my trip to Greece. He took my word for it, I couldn't exactly send him back any product. I only called to let them know, I didn't expect a free replacement. ZO skin recently sent me a new sunscreen. There was something wrong with the pump on mine. It worked, but I had to reclose the top every time I needed to get some out. I was told to keep & finish the defective one. |

Thanks for the information about the TSC and MLab. I have also been tempted but am holding off for a while to use up other products, which are working well. I thought there were several creams and the latest TSC one was anti aging and not the usual one, or was it more brightening? For those who use it, is it moisturizing enough for dry skin and it is ok with sensitive skin. thanks. When they are on TV I wish they would actually name the ingredients and not just state the high number of them. Also, is estore a safe way to purchase in Canada? |

I have had confirmation from M Lab that the ingredients of the eye cream have not changed but the colour may vary very slightly between batches which I can probably understand. It may have been the lighting in my bathroom that threw me but when I had a look at mine in sunlight it probably is a little more blue green than cream.
I am still rapt in the product line and after three months, the consistency of my eye cream has not changed and it is still as effective as the day I opened it. I must say that I always use a plastic scoop to take a small amount out and then close the lid immediately. |

I've had my eye cream for quite awhile and have had absolutely no problems with it. It's still very light and fluffy and sinks right in.
With that said, though, it isn't my favorite eye cream and isn't my favorite MLab product by any means.
I also agree that their customer service is amazing. I had a problem with the pump on one of my anti aging serums and a new one came so quickly I was astounded. |

One of the very few eye creams that does not cause eye puffiness and with continued use, the skin around the eyes is firmer. |

Who's the cosmetic watch dog? |
The only "cosmetics watchdog' Iknow is super annoying Paula.
But I think she has almostno credibility
Like, she sells her own cosmetic line from her website too.
So obv she is goingto put down everything else.
I used to browse her site once in a while, but noticed since she is now selling her own items- she is just saying most brands are not as good.
I think I would more likely believe info from a company directly, or actual reviews online from normal people...
Unless the cosmetics watchdog is the website that rates the toxicity of products?
But that just tells you how safe stuff is,not if it works.
I knowfor the toxicity stuff I looked up Dior and they were 9 out of10 for irritating ingredients, while many natural things were a 1 or 2 (lower numbers meant safer items). |

Right now there is 50% on MLab products at Skinstore - plus you receive 15ml of the Anti-Aging treatment for free. |

I'd love to hear some updated feedback about M Lab. I bought some products from the shopping channel and am not sure whether I'll keep them. Buying them that way was much cheaper than their website. Love the cleanser, find the treatment cream a bit heavy and sits on the skin (maybe it's intended to be a barrier cream and would be fine in the dryness of winter). The serum and cream I guess did help a lot with deep lines. Something has stained my pillowcases and a blouse, not sure if it is the cream as it is brownish in color or a sunscreen I used. Has anyone had this with M Lab? thanks. Harriet |

I am half way thru a huge jar using it just on my chest and I haven't seen a difference. It is a nice cream but so are a lot of other products stuffed in my frig. I won't be buying another one. |

I had the trial kit and used it for about a month. I love the cleanser, does a good job and is not drying. I did notice improvement with the lines between my eyebrows and above my lips. I thought the night cream was heavy and sat on my skin but maybe that is also to be a barrier cream as well as a treatment and I used too much. I re ordered full size jars, got a deal from the Toronto Shopping Channel, and then sent it back after more trial as I did not want to spend the money at this time and decided to use the products I had Also, I didn't want to buy M Lab from the US in order to be able to get the day cream with spf. I plan on trying it again for a month in the depth of winter when it is so dry here and see how it is or consider it a once in a while boost, is use it for a month here and there. I might just use it on the frown lines and upper lip lines as it seemed to be working well there. But I am also a bit nervous about some of the muscle relaxing ingredients and don't want to overdo it.
I am currently using Shiseido which I really like but it is less effective with the deeper lines I think. I want to try the new Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair and the new Clinique Serum. My skin is delicate and I think a line which is not too extreme is best for me. Would also like to hear how others are making out with it. Harriet |

I bought up a bunch of MLab products when they were offered at 50% off. I love the line, but will not pay the retail cost. So for me...yes they were are very effective but too costly at 100% retail. |

Dermstore is having a 50% sale (code is MLABSECRET). Thinking of finally buying the anti-aging travel kit. I recently tried some Hydropeptide samples and now the sides of my nose is all red and flaky, so maybe it's too strong for me (definitely not a good match for me I don't think).
I like that M Lab does not contain parabens and seems simple enough. Anyone still using it? |

Hi WhiteWolf,
I'm new here. I must thank you for the heads up about the 50% off sale. (Can't afford this line otherwise.)
I'm 43, with pretty good skin and typical aging concerns. I substituted the M-Lab Anti-Aging Treatment Serum for Skinceuticals C E Ferulic acid last month. Within 2 weeks, I noticed a rosy glow and luminosity. (Haven't seen this since my mid-30s.) My face just looks well. It will require more time to see changes in my main problem areas (laxity, dynamic wrinkles, puppet lines), but I am hopeful.
Most other products don't make a visible difference in my skin, even after months of use. Kudos to M Lab! |

I just ordered a trial/travel kit from Skinstore. They are having a 50% off sale. I have no idea why I bought this. I have used a zillion products and none has really made a visible difference. I don't expect this will either.
I am a long-time sunblock and retin a user. I recently started using black soap from shea terra organics and am liking that pretty well. |

Resurrecting this thread to add my agreement re: good customer service. I emailed MLab, and asked if they had an outlet in the UK. They send me a box of samples! Which arrived in a week!
Haven't tried them yet, will start when I have finished my Cellcosmet (which, BTW, I don't like as much as Valmont).
Anyone still using this line? |
