JJ and others - I'm in the process of buying these products! I'm not a person who's done well with eye creams either so I'm hoping this path will be better.

I've used the (famous on another thread Laughing ) Tuck with a product called "No lines" bought from Nanci (NCN). I mix them and get a very flat, smooth undereye area. I also lay on the ground while they dry - a la Kassy!

However I regard these types of products as distinctly separate products/goals from treatment products such as MD Forte and the TNS. The Tuck and No Lines for me help tighten and smooth as I don't have eye bags but they don't replace a bonafide treatment.

The roller I've used three times. Will report in depth about this on the roller thread.

Sis, these are definitely different types of products, but what a fabulous idea to lay on the ground while your Tuck and No Lines mixture dries! Let gravity take your eyes back in time while the stuff is drying. Wow, that Kassy is one smart cookie, isn't she? That's a great tip.

Yes, you're right. The MDF and TNS are two really strong products, and they each do basically the same thing, but approach that goal of smoothing the undereye area in two very different ways so that all bases are covered. I think you'll be pleased. OK, brave one, off to check the roller thread. ~ JJ Very Happy

Has, I'm sorry - I just saw this post! Do you want to use the retin-a/blender under your eyes every night or every other night? If every other night, I would use it first, then apply MD Forte. And on the off nights, use the TNS.

I have only used the TNS on clean skin with nothing underneath, but Riley says that you can use it on top of retin-a, I believe, after waiting 30-45 minutes. As far as morning use, I don't use either product during the day, but if I did, it would be the TNS. In the mornings I personally use a C serum, alpha lipoic acid, and moisturizing eye cream and sometimes use peptides. Please post again if I have only made you more confused! Very Happy ~ JJ

jj - I know you use a moisturizing eye cream on top of many of the other products. Just want to clarify these - hemp seed oil is one, and the Perlier black rice and then the neutrogena product are some that you use. Are these interchangable as you see it? I have a few eye cream products around and I figure if it's just to hold the other stuff in (mostly) then they will probably be acceptable. In other words do you think any of the outside eye care products are synergistic with the other choices - that you can tell? (I know it's hard to know for sure)

Sis, the hemp I used over the MD Forte a few times when I was still prone to redness and flaking; the Perlier is very silky and contains peptides, and the Neutrogena is a lifting eye cream that is not as silky or moisturizing. Most of the time now, I use the Perlier because of the moisture factor. I like the Perlier over the TNS because both contain peptides. The MD Forte I like with all three - the hemp, the Perlier and the Neutrogena. In the mornings, I am using up other eye serums and creams in lieu of tossing them. HTH! ~ JJ

Yes, this helps. I'm probably going to try the Perlier - thought it sounded nice on it's own so hey It's great to try over something!
thanks jj

MaryClaire..and here I was worrying about you doing the Salicylic acid peel!! But you're a pro! I have done lots of TCA peels but never my whole face at once (had that done by a dr.)

I would seriously love to do my undereyes...only worry about the downtime...how many days were you out of action?

I am starting the TNS as soon as it gets here!

rebecca

Hi Rebecca,

It took a week to peel from the undereye peel but it really prepared the area for the MD Forte and the TNS.

I've done a 30% TCA on my arms but it's so hard to get arms to peel and that's why I'm gearing up for the salicylic peel and I love that you have already blazed the trail.

I am careful to do a test and to read as much as I can first. I've read experiences from a lot of self-peelers on the MMH board and the ones that get in trouble are the ones that don't test/research.

A friend purchased some MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Eye samples to try from an eBay seller. Today the seller emailed her to tell her that MD Forte is no longer making the samples, in case anyone is interested. ~ JJ

I ordered the Reversital Microdermabrasion Face stick off of ebay after reading this thread. I really like the way it exfoliates my skin. It cost me, with shipping, about $17.

Simply amazing the way it makes my skin feel. I did apply with the stick but then used my fingers in circular movements to get it in areas hard to reach, like around my nose. Super exfoliation. I use my Clarisonic daily but will use this a few times a week. Thanks for mentioning it in the thread.

Anybody uses just TNS by itself???? I'm in my early 30s' and started to get fine lines underneath my eyes. Trying not to be really aggressive as I don't have big wrinkles.
Do you think I can get rid of those fine lines only with TNS??

They definitely seem to be phasing the MDForte out that's for sure.

Damn! Isn't it always the case that as soon as you find something you love, they discontinue it! Mad

Anyway, my MD Forte and TNS have now arrived and I'm ready to begin my new eye regime. Just a couple of questions, please?

Firstly, I see that you need to wait 20-30 mins after applying the MD Forte before layering some eye cream over the top, but what about the TNS? Do I need to wait a certain length of time, or just until the product appears to be absorbed?

And finally, is this a continuous treatment or do you perform it for, say, one month on, one month off, etc?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before. I did a quick skim read and couldn't find the answers, but don't have time for a more thorough read through this morning.

Many thanks!

Hi, Majorb - of course they are in the process of discontinuing the product. I love it; therefore it WILL be discontinued! GRRRRRR.

No, you don't have to wait with the TNS, although a give it about 5 minutes to be absorbed, and if you have the samples rather than the jar, you may not even need a moisturizing eye product over it.

The only reason you wait with the MDForte is to give the Glycolic and Retinol time to work without changing their pH.

These two eye products have become my regimen. But all of us are different, and if you are happy with your results after a few months, stick these in the fridge for future use and see if you like just using a normal eye cream. I would venture to say that you will end up using them again, but they do have a lasting effect. I'll go off them for a week or so and then get back on them, just to see what happens. I've never had the lines return in just a week; don't know about any longer than that. HTH ~ JJ

I've started on the TNS eye cream now. Will be using this nightly along with RA every other night.
This is a lovely rich eye cream that is very moisturizing. You only need a tiny amount so it should last a very long time.
It seems to be quite strong as it burns slightly on application...hoping this won't cause a problem with continued use.
Anyways this is my initial impression of the TNS cream and I'll report back on any results after giving it a good trial run.

Brierrose, your undereye skin will acclimate to it. If it makes you red or crinkly, back off to every third night for a week or so, then switch back to every other night. HTH ~ JJ

Thanks JJ for your counsel! I did wonder if I would acclimate to it as you said. The slight burning does dissipate and it doesn't make me red or crinkly.
I think because it does seem quite active (which is a good thing) I will ease into it for awhile. That's usually the best route for me to take with stronger products anyways.

You know I wish you all the luck possible! After I posted above about MD Forte perhaps being discontinued, I searched for it online. That may be the case eventually, but all of the major online skin stores that have always sold it are still selling it. Whew!!! There is not a short supply of it. There has been such a good response by consumers to MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation Eye, I would think that if they do eliminate the line or certain products in it, they will do so very slowly.~ JJ

jjbeacham - I hope it is a gradual discontinuation. Such a shame, though, since it seems to work so well for so many.

I used the TNS last night (was going to use the MD Forte, but I forgot and was so late to bed that I didn't have time to wait 20-30 mins - must get into a proper routine). It was extremely comfortable on my dry eyes, and I didn't bother putting moisturiser over the top as it felt fine. Saves a bit of money on eye cream!

This is sounding so tempting to the fine lines under my eyes!

For those of you using this system, what eye creams are you using, and what about them do you like? My under eyes do tend to lose moisture quite easily so I'm a little concerned about this part Question
