I too love St. Ives Apricot Scrub - I use the one that's for acne prone skin, only I use it all over my body along with those drugstore scrubby-gloves. It helps exfoliate the dead skin on my thighs and butt that never goes away otherwise, and it's also great for my upper arms where I sometimes get a touch of folliculitis. I also use the drugstore steal Freeman's Plum and Pumice Foot Scrub for the same purpose - i.e. all over my body (just not my face). This exfoliator works harder than any other I've found! Kind of crap for feet though, unless you combine it with a good pumice stone. |

I love all the Neostrata products. They are relatively inexpensive. I have been meaning to do a review on the at home peel and microdermabrasion system. They both get a huge rave from me.

Maybelline Age Rewind foundation-this stuff is spot on! Foundation is so hard to get right, especially from the drugstore, but if you like a medium coverage, this is a great product and a good range of shades.
Revlon Lash Fantasy mascara
Almay eye makeup remover pads
Cetaphil cleanser (although after reading a review on EDS about the Burts Bees Orange Essence cleanser I am tempted)
Mark Anthony Thick (Shampoo & Conditioner and Thickening cream ) at CVS. I am a hairstylist and have used EVERY salon quality thickening product at $15 and up. The MA is very comparable and I think better.
Burts Bees lip balm (put it on every night)
Avon (not drugstire) Mositure Theray Intensive Hand Cream (have used it for years)
Rimmel (lipsticks and all other makeup) but didn't like their foundations
Wet N Wild Bronzing Powder |

I got the best tip from manslayerliz about mascara from CVS. it is Physician's Formula Mineral wear - mineral mascara. I bought it in black.
(They offer another mascara - make sure you get the mineral mascara - it's in a thicker tube than the other).
Could not find it at Wal-mart though. They carried the brand but not the mascara. |

AH drugstore junkies...my paradise. Love that place.
Whats wrong with St.Ives? Been using that for years, I think thats why I look 5 years younger. ALso Burts Bees, possibly the best brand out there. I discovered this lemon poppy seed scrub, which isnt a scrub, but it leaves a thin film on your face so its seriously moisturized without being greasy. I have combination skin, but I noticed that my pimples have gotten better, and that my skin looks great! I use that as well as Bliss the YOuth as we know it moisturizer. Great stuff...
I also bought a acne device called derma style from there, will get here in a few days. I dont have bad acne but you know, just a bit vain....
Will let u know how the acne device goes...... |

I like Neutrogena. The line "Visibly Firm" contains Copper Peptide. It's not as strong a a CP Serum from Skin Biology but I think it's based on a similar principle. |

Jergens body firming lotion and Kiss my Face Patchouli lotion - great smell when you mix them together. It's my signature.... Lots of complements - a "soft hippy". |

Oooh! Sister sweets, I'll be lookin' for the patchouli lotion, one of my all time favorite scents
Great thread. I'm makin' a list for things I hadn't noticed in the drugstore before.
Here are some things I buy there:
Jergens lotion, original almond scent, reminds me of my childhood
Redken Workforce hair spray
Sally Hansen nail polish
Loreal liquid eyeliner
Tom's mango toothpaste/gel |
