I am reviving the thread to see if any long-time users of MD Forte and TNS eye cream are still happy with the combination... I am in my late 20's and have started to notice fine lines. I do not use any Retin A, just some Vit C serum and Hyaluronic Acid eye cream, followed by SPF.
Looking forward to members' feedback! TIA |

HI, I'd also love to hear if any of you would still recommend this combination of products or essentially the individual products. I've been doing some research into a decent eye cream/serum, but find it really difficult to come up with any one thing that people just love, I suppose besides the EES from NCN.
I was also interested to know if this combination works for puffy eyes and dark circles (as these are also a concern)as well as the fine lines a lot of you were mentioning.
Thanks |

I tried the combo of MD Forte and TNS for 3-4 months. I was not that impressed with the TNS, just didn't seem to do anything for me other than moisturize and it's pricy. I used the MD Forte separately for a while and found it had more impact - the glycolic acid and retinol pack a punch and can be harsh if you are at all sensitive. The MD Forte does work for me. If I need more moisture, I apply a little oil over it. |

For the MD Forte it helps some with puffy eyes, not much with dark circles (at least for me). It seems like its more for wrinkles/crows feet.
The TNS did nothing other than moisturize. |

I still use the MD Forte a couple of times a week. It does help to smooth the undereye area and yes does work on fine lines. Very strong though so I would advise to gradually work it into your regime. Will also need something more moisturizing in between or a good oil.
Something in the TNS bothered my sensitive eyes so never found out how effective it was. HTH |

Thanks Ladies!! I think I'll give the MD Forte a whirl for the crows feet and keep looking for an eye cream for the under eye puffiness and circles. Any suggestions or any links you could provide me with that might lead me to another eyecream/serum forum besides NCN's EES? TIA |

Has anybody been successful in removing the number eleven's? I just started the Retin A 0.025, can anyone tell me whether I use it everyday for it to work? No irritation to my skin and I have been using it every 2 days in the eve.
I have also just started the Clinique products, the Repairwear laser focus serum, which you can use on lines on forehead and around eye area, and I also bought the lifting and firming cream. I have seen some improvement in the lines aroudn my eyes. I am 37 years old.
I have also tried the NCN Renovage, but not much improvement. I need to use a few things or a few ingredients on a consistant basis. Can someone help me and tell me the best combination? I like the clinique products so far. I want to add to them.. Any recommendatons? Shall I stick with Retin A and see how it goes after 6 months? I only put retin A on my forehead and in between eyebrows, I do not need to put it somewhere else.
Thanks

I read an old post about someone who got rid of eye wrinkles with a nightly swap of MD Forte Eye Rejuvination cream and Skinmedica Eye cream. I thought it must have just been the MD Forte because of the retinol and Glycolic and used it nightly for 3 weeks with a definate lightening in my lines - but no sign of them going for good.
I got a sample of the TNS Eye Cream and used that at night and the MD Forte in the morning. 6 days later and they are almost gone, I have to look very hard to see them - I give it a few more days and I'll have perfect smooth and line free eyes!! It is the combo that works for sure.
To help anyone reading I just turned 30 and have mild criss cross fine lines under my eyes - very fine but enough to let the makeup crease into them and they are begining to wrinkle a bit when I smile - although that no longer happens now!! Thank you so much whoever that poster was - your a gem!! i'm going to try the combo on my parenthesis lines around my mouth and see if I can get as good a result there!! |
Hi, Sunlit. I'm the "gem" who posted about using the two treatments together. That is so funny!
I am still amazed at what this little duo accomplishes. And I agree with you that this is a great combo to try anywhere you have lines. As time goes on, you will, hopefully, be as happy as I still am with the MD Forte and TNS Night Repair used alternately. After the lines were erased, the next progress I noted was much more firmness in the eye area. I no longer have to use concealer, and that is unbelievable in my case. I am even more thrilled all these months later than I was when I first found this. And I am absolutely elated that it works for you, too! Very happy for you! ~ JJ |
Hi JJbeacham:
I realize that this is an old post, but I am very interested in trying these two products together. I just have two questions; How long did it take for you too see results? (some other retina products I have tried around my eyes just dried them out and I don't want to give up on this duo too soon)? Also when you say you use them "alternately" what specifically do you mean? TNS in the morning, MD Forte at night or alternating every other night? |

I keep reading your messages and I find them veyr informative as i can see that you all have got results with this combo. Can someone please help me and tell me where I can buy them from, what TNS stands for, etc.? I am using retin A 0.025 ONLYon my forehead and I was reading (a tip for all of you!) from a dermatologist that the best way to apply it if you have wrinkles is to use a tiny lipstick brush and apply and fill up the lines directly like that, when using retin A. I only use it on my forehead, not around my eye area, so I am quite interested to see where i get these two products from. I am currently also using the Laserfocus Serum from Clinique underneath my day cream or eye cream.
Thank you so much

Suggest you google the products, you'll find a bunch of places where they are sold. Both are on Amazon for example. Not sure what TNS stands for, might be on Skinmedica's website since they are the manufacturer.
I've used both TNS and Md Forte. They are good products. |

Rileygirl, thank you so much . I already use the 0.025 retin A (only on forehead) and every two weeks I put the NCN pumpkin peel. I love it. Do you thnk I should stop the pumpkin peel if i will use the MD Forte? And do you put the MD Forte all over face or on problem areas? thanks for your help, I guess I should start reading the thread from scratch and stop asking I appreciate and thank you.

Stella, JJ used the MD Forte only around her eyes, I believe. It is a strong product, so if you are going to use it, I would definitely not do the pumpkin peel around the area until you see how you react to the eye cream. I would definitely recommend reading the entire thread. It will probably give you lots of information. I don't use either of these products, but I wanted to give you the info on the ingredients. |

Again, thank you Rilel Girl. I am scared to use products. Thats why I only use on my forehead, and thats where I mostly have expression lines anyway. However I do have some crows feet and i look forward for a good eyecream.
Anything you use that you recommend?? A good daycream for example? I do buy lots of products but i am kind of sceptic now whether they work or not...I was reading lately about Acetyl hexapeptide 8, which is ok, but if you put it all over your face then is your face going to sag? Kind of worried cos the day cream I am using has got acetyl hexapeptide in it...however, I really do not know how much, could be only a tiny bit of amount it wont do anything at all, neither good nor bad LOL.
Anyway I will read the thread and / or other informative threads on the forum and I will see what I can find.
thanks riley:) |

No problem. I think you cannot go wrong using an A product and a C product, plus a good quality sunscreen every day.
Definitely read the threads on EDS. There is a wealth of info here and you will learn a lot! |

Riley girl thank you. I have in the past done my own Vit C Serum, I had found it on another forum. It did dry my skin a bit though, and sometimes the texture is not as good as I d want it to be. Do you think the Vit C that you buy from some reknown brands are better blended, and work better? I wanna make sure I d get all the benefits out of it.
Also, what is your opinion on creams that you find in beauty shops (even expensive ones) ? I am kind of giving up on them..However I have to use some good anti-aging daycream and nightcream other than the serums. |

You would also need to apply it topically. |
