I'm not sure if I posted my routine before, if I have it's probably changed by now so.
Mid-20s, combination skin in the summer.
Right now I'm using most of Shiseido's White Lucent line and it has really kept my skin clear of cystic acne.
AM
Shiseido The Skincare Foam cleanser
Shiseido White Lucent Skin Softener
JB (Alphaderma) C & C serum
Haku2 Whitening lotion
Shiseido Moisturizing Emulsion
Sofina Sunscreen
PM
Same routine but,
Substitute Vit C with PSF's Berry Beneficial
and no sunscreen |

33-combi, dark hair/eyes fair skin, dark eye circles.
Basic routine is this.
am -
Dermalogica the Bar.
Juice beauty tinted 30spf or tescos facial 30spf
if I feel I need it a dash of MMU, a blend of 3.
pm -
Dermalogica the Bar 2x
Bionova superior eye lift.
That's it! And my skin is looking good.

Occasional things I add if I feel I need a boost or I'm looking tired.
L'Occitane apple cider or olive day cream
HA serum (just got a new one from PSF) to be used at night
Vit C Serum (Jason Beckett) night
ADCE - JB
Alpha H - various lotions!
also - got a sample of MaMa Lotion with my last EDS order which I've been using the past couple of days. I think I'm going to have to get a full size. |

I am 24 years old and have suffered from acne since my teenage years. It's such a self esteem crusher. I have actually had people tell me I could be a model if my skin wasn't so bad. I have tried so many "solutions" but there is good news. For me personally I can say having experimented so much I know what to avoid and what to do for results.
First, drink a ton of water! It helps your body in general and does wonders for your skin.
My topical regime is this...
*Mary Kay spot treatment 5% benzoyl peroxide (a small dab that I spread all over my face), followed by *AVON Ageless Results Day Cream, then a light dusting of *Bare Escentuals Blemish Therapy loose powder. I will warn that this may make your face very dry at first. So you can begin with just treating the acne itself with the powder. It comes with a tiny concealer brush for application anyhow. My face has show a dramatic improvement in the number and severity of my breakouts and the day cream has helped fade old scars and prevent new ones from forming. It contains sunscreen. Which is another thing I recommend if you have acne because scarring is so hard to combat. Lastly I have to say that exfoliation is very important. Don't overdo it! I would exfoliate every other day with a gentle scrub to keep pores free of dead skin which can clog them causing new acne to form.
Hope I was of some help. It's an ongoing battle for me and I am not giving up! |

... I was using Skinceuticals C&E in the morning, and was very annoyed by the stickiness it was giving me... was uncomfortable for me.
I`m thinking of trying a Vivier C serum, but it seems it will the one without vit.E.
thank you |

They are on sale now, ushttp://www.greatnewskin.com/index2.html the 4 product kit is less than what I use to pay for one of some of the others listed here, I am stocking up! Easy, fast and boy do they work! |

I'm 24 with oily/acne skin and have found the following to work best for me:
AM/PM
Sothys Purifying Cream Cleanser
Sothy Purifying Toner
Sothys Active Cream
Weekly
Sothys Gommage Exfoliant
Monthly
Deep cleansing facial
I have tried so many products before Sothys and have spent literally more money than I currently make in a month and nothing has worked as well. I also really enjoy my routine because it's so simple. I'm one of those people who just don't like spending a lot of time in front of the mirror. |
