i went to a local store and try the hand cream, and i find that its texture a tiny bit too thick ! it didnt feel greasy, but it's a bit sticky for 10 mins
i think i like the jurlique hand cream a lot better, in terms of texture, what it does to my hands etc.
oh, having that eliminated, i only have to consider whether i should get the cellular hand treatment |

I only apply the hand cream to the backs of my hands. I use one pump on the back of one hand and then rub the backs of them together, making sure that my fingers are also moisturized. For me, it absorbs really quickly without any residue at all. If you rubbed it all over your hands, do you remember if it was your palms that were sticky? |

it was my finger tips that were sticky, 10 mins later, when i tried to open my handbag, and pick things up etc etc

I've been using Valmont Hand Cream for 6 weeks now, so I thought that an update was in order.
The condition of the skin on the back of my hands continues to improve. A couple of weeks ago I noticed (all of a sudden ), that the skin on the back of my wrists wasn't looking so good. It was then that I realized that when I apply the hand cream to the backs of my hands, I was stopping just above my wrist. And now that my hands are looking so much better, I could see the difference in the back of my wrists. Needless to say, I apply there now too. It's looking better, but my hands had a month head-start, and my wrists haven't caught up yet.
Valmont Hand Cream has made itself a staple in my routine and will definitely repurchase. |

This is a luxious hand cream to have, though the price is higher than most other brands' hand creams, the result is promising and definitely worth the money invested.
I love the Belgium Rose scent of the cream, smells really nice and relaxing. I have been using Valmont Hand Cream for 6 months now.....and i used to use La Prairie Hand Cream, but later got "addicted" to Valmont's.
This light cream absorbed into the skin quickly and does not leave the hands feeling oily. It keeps my skin well mositurized and sometimes i even apply it onto my arms and legs. One of my giflfriend who is a Valmont's fan (or "freak") :P, even has an extra bottle of the hand cream on her office desk. She just love it and keep "spreading" the cream on her hands every now and then....... and needless to say, her hands look smoother and fairer than before.
As for me, i only apply the cream before bedtime and let it work overnight. My skin feels real soft the next morning and it even helps soften the cuticles. Definitely a "must-have" product for me.

very tempting, would like to try. I've tried Jurlique before, but that's too rich and absorb to skin slowly, not suitable to use in day time. Now using OPI Avojuice day time and LCN hand cream before sleep. Thinking of having a Valmont soon. |

I am currently using the Hand Treatment and the Hand Cream. I only started a week ago but so far there is a considerable improvement in the skin on the backs of my hands which were in bad condition. I am impressed. |

I started using Valmont's Hand Treatment last week. I haven't seen the dramatic results I did when I started using the Hand Cream, but my hands were in pretty poor shape when I started. I'm hoping that the Treatment serum will give the hand cream a little boost. I've been so impressed with the hand cream that I'm expecting great things using both products. |

The most serious problem I have with my hands is that they just feel ROUGH. The tops of them don't look terrible but the palms are rough. Would the Valmont cream help with this? |

I wish that I had an update to share, but I was away on vacation for two weeks (got back yesterday). I haven't been using my Valmont hand products because of the restrictions on liquids when flying. I'll give it a couple of weeks and report back. |

The Valmont hand treatment and cream are made for aging hands, so I don't think that they are what you are looking for. It sounds like you need moisture and protection; maybe try l'occitane's shea butter hand cream... I found that one to be a great moisturizer. |

Thanks for your advice, tam. My hands have gotten so rough that I sometimes use a FOOT cream on them. It has shea butter in it, but doesn't sink in very well, maybe due to its other ingredients. I actually have the l'occitane stashed away somewhere, I'll try it tonight with cotton gloves. |

I think this is the best hand cream I have ever used. It sinks in almost immediately and you only need a little bit, so it lasts a long time. I also love the smell! Like fresh roses. It reminds me of my wedding because we got married on Mackinac Island and they have a ton of flowers! My hands have always been cracked and dry and awful looking. This really smooths them out and plumps them too! VERY moisturizing. It is a handcream fit for a beauty queen! |

I tried samples of this about 6 and it wasn't very good or any where near as good as the shea butter creams I have, infact there perlie (sp), got them in a huge gift basket at xmas..from a good freind, there surprisingly really good. So for the money, I'd save it for face cream instead. |
I agree it is pricy for a hand cream - I couldn't afford it because I use a LOT of hand cream since I wash hands often. |
Agree, I believe it's good as I like Valmont products. But I don't think I will ever invest too much on hand creams...well, it's just me. |

yes, it is expensive, but I think if the product works, it can be worth it. Often people spend fortunes on face, but neglect hands. But it`s hands and neck that give the age away. Face can be botoxed or with surgery, but hands and neck will tell the truth |

Valmont is great but expensive. For hand cream, I would just go with a drugstore brand and apply as many times as possible. |

The Valmont hand cream is definitely much better as it seems to repair and moisturise rather than just moisturising. Valmont also absorbs without any leftover greasy feeling. |

How often do feel like re-applying the Valmont hand cream?
I'm looking for a hand cream that I can apply only once or twice a day, but not every 2 hours. |

The Valmont hand cream really only needs to be applied once in the morning and once in the evening. As an occasional treatment, it is greatly enhanced if used with the Valmont Hands Treatment. |

I got my hand cream yesterday! That's the most expensive hand cream I ever bought, but yes, it's worth it. I applied it once in the morning, now it's 10.16 pm and my hands still are very moistured!
But I must note that I do my dishes and cleaning only in gloves and also apply olive oil through the day ( since I apply it on my lips anyway ). |
