I'm really disappointed with my Epidermx. I loved it so I bought a second jar. When I was done with my 1st jar, I went to go get my second jar and it was black with mold and smelly. I think I got a bad batch. It's expensive enough that it feels bad. |

I have also used the set for about 2 months now as well. And I am confused b/c at first I found the products worked ok for me but then in around the 5th week I started breaking out with 2 or 3 huge pimples..which is rare for me. They have sinced gone down and I have got one or two more smaller ones. My face is normal combination where the cheeks are pretty normal yet the t-zone is a little oily. Now I am feeling some small little bumps which you can't really see but I can feel them. I am so upset and am wondering if using the Chrysalex is also too much for me. I really wanted these products to work for me but really don't know what to do...any suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

I just noticed that EDS is carrying the Triple Lavender Face Foam. |

Me too! I was pleasantly surprised, since EDS is closer to home and faster delivery for me in Canada. |

I've resumed using EPII once or twice a week although I find it very scratchy. I just couldn't bring myself to throw it away. Plus I still haven't found an exfoliator that I actually like to use. Now I wish I hadn't used EPII. Before I gave it up the first time, I suspected it was aggravating the broken caps on my cheeks, but I wasn't 100% sure. Now I can definitely see that the already existing broken caps on my cheeks are looking much worse and I seem to have more of them along my jawline as well! It's about time I throw it out and start looking for a new exfoliator...maybe a chemical one this time. |

Don't throw it out! Use it on your back or ankles or tummy or elbows or toosh. |

Eew, have you contacted whoever you bought this from so you can get another jar? This stuff is too expensive to give up on! I purchased 3 jars about 5 months ago. I'm working on the last jar and it hasn't turned ugly, so you definitely got a bad batch. |

I just ordered a jar of Epidermx II based on EDS reviews, and I have to say I really love it. I haven't had it for long, so this is just preliminary, but I like how scrub-a-dub-dubby it is, haha. Most scrubs don't feel scrubby enough for my taste, and even though I'm quite sensitive, the crystals are still small and gentle enough that they don't upset my skin. And I use it over acne with no problem too, and it seems to help it heal. I may just have found my HG! |

I should place my order for the Epidermx II and the Chrysalax (sp?) soon but am slightly confused as to where to incorporate them into my routine.
I'm lazy and didnt want to go through ALL 12 pages of this thread so maybe someone can answer my questions!?
1) Is it ok to use Differin after the Epidermx? Or do you wait x minutes? (I'm sure I read that Liz uses Taz after the scrub )
2) Is it ok to use a peel or mask- e.g. aspirin+yoghurt+honey or moisturing mask etc etc with the Epidermx? Does it go before or afer?
3) Is it ok to use the Chrysalax to only spot treat acne areas rather than the whole face?
I'm sure a few more questions will pop into my head soon!
Thanks! |

I just received my order of lavender face foam, epidermx and chrysalix. I used all three for the first time last night. I definitely got the WOW effect. My skin felt much softer and smoother straight away - mainly due to the epidermx i expect.
Was also pleased to find that the cleanser came out as a foam from a liquid form. I have used foaming cleansers in the past that foamed from a cream and always found them too drying for me. This seemed quite gentle.
Of course it is too soon to properly evaluate the products...but first impressions are v. good!
I also love the smell of all the products
Thank you manslayerliz for your detailed review. This really spurred me on to try these products. I too have acne-prone skin and was v encouraged by your comments and photos. |

Yeahyeah--- sorry I missed your questions before!
1)I use Taz right after eII with no wait time. If anything it makes my taz work better!
2)Once a week I use Juice Beauty's Green Apple Peel after E2. I think it's better to do it afterwards since it will penetrate into your pores more deeply.
3) Sure, I think it's fine to just spot treat with the Chrysalyx.
Fletch, I'm glad you're enjoying the Naturderm products so far. Please keep us updated! |

Excellent, Thanks Liz!
Im most likely gonna place my order next month, as I just received my NCN order and there's a postal strike here again , and I dont want my EDS goodies to get lost
I seriously cant wait to try the Naturderm products, even though I've used the Epidermx II on and off in the past!
There are members here saying that the Epidermx II leaves a film on the face, do you think its best to use the scrub first then cleanse?
I could use a toner, but my routine already takes such a long time |

Hi Yeahyeah, I'm uk based too and have been buying the Naturderm products from greatnewskin.co.uk. No disrespect to EDS which I love but obviously the postage is much faster, the EII comes in about the same after postage costs and the 2 serums are cheaper from the UK, and that's before adding anything Her Maj's Customs charges on top for orders coming in from US or Canada. I got my last order within 24 hours of ordering and they were really helpful in explaining to me how to use everything properly. Will be ordering some more after the postal strike to combat my latest outbreak of chin pimples. Pesky hormones!! |

Hi Lorenna
The custom charges are quite hefty
Ohhh, I have totally forgotten that they have the UK website . The Chrysalyx is slighly cheaper than EDS but the shipping charges are really high. I want to buy a few jars of Epidermx II and the Chrysalyx and the p+p were £6! However, on ebay it says that they have free shipping for orders over a specific amount so maybe I will email them to see if that is true. Because if they did offer free shipping then I would def order directly from them!
Thanks! |

Mmm, so I've been using this scrub for the past two or three weeks now, and I just love it. I love how scrubby yet gentle it is, and I LOVE the smell! So subtly tropical and yummy. After reading ingredients and reviews, I thought the scrub would be the only item that I wanted to try from Naturderm - but based on how much I like it, I might have to branch out a bit! |

Hi
Thanks for the update. Do you use the EII after cleansing? Because I read that some members saying it leaves a film on the face.
Thanks! |

I sometimes use it in place of a cleanser and sometimes after - depends on whether I'm wearing eye makeup. (I.e. in the morning I'll use it solo, since I washed off my makeup at night.) I do think it leaves a teensy film, but nothing to freak out about - I'm not big on the "squeaky-clean" feeling since I think it means a cleanser is too drying anyway. Whatever film it leaves seems to be gentle and oil-based (at least that's what I assume after reading the ingredients). |

I don't know if it's my skin or the water in my area or what, but EII has never left any kind of film on my face. On the contrary, after I use it my skin feels totally clean and soft, just like baby skin. HTH! |

Hi again yeahyeah,
Just checked the greatnewskin.co.uk site for their shipping charges and saw it's free for anything over 59 quid?! Are we on the same site? Might work out well depending on what you wanted
Reading all these posts has made me want to go and Epidermx my chin... I look like a spotty 16 year old! |

Hey Lorrena
Know exactly how you feel! Well I was spotty in my teens, guess the spots are coming now
I went on ebay (cos I bought my first jar off ebay), not their website. And its free shipping on orders over £52:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Epidermx-II-Microdermabrasion-Cream-Acne-Stretch-Marks_W0QQitemZ330169737217QQihZ014QQcategoryZ33164QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Its the heading under "postage and packaging", if you scroll all the way down.
But I did my calculations and its a tad bit cheaper if I buy from EDS. Even with the custom charges and all, I will still save a few pounds. Though I wont get the parcel so quick, I think saving money is my main aim now |

Didnt buy from EDS but directly fromwww.greatnewskin.co.uk as I wanted to use the products NOW! Amazing CS and super quick delivery! They offered me a discount too as I am a returning customer YAY!
I have used it for just a day so I cant review it yet but I love the smell of the Chrysalyx, so yummy!
Will update as soon as I see any results from using it. But am wondering how much Epidermx is needed...pea sized amount?
TIA |

Hi all,
I have not posted in quite a while, I have been lurking quite a bit. Trying to figure out the magic answer. I am 44, not ready to go under the knife, but definately showing signs of aging, with skin discoloration, dry skin that I have attempted to keep moist, but now have started getting those tiny white underground pearls....which is worse?? also have puffyness under my eyes, wrinkles under eyes, deep smile lines, 11 lines, cheeks have dropped, jowels are on the verge of hinting that they are here, skin plumpness gone. I have one the the "light" contraptions. Though I havent used it in a few months. I have been watching dr 90210 alot lately. Have been seriously thinking about restalyne, in the folds, and a chemical peel and maybe a bit of botox. But before I do that, I went ahead and did some shopping tonight. Not exactly sure about how all these products will work together, or what order I am to use them in, but many of you have had success with the naturdermx, and epidermx and I have also seen many comments about HA, and emu oil etc...
I Just ordered the Mini Lift made up of Naturdermx Chrysalyx & Epidermx, as well as on the platinum skin care site I bought the 12.5% tca peel, restoration eye therapy, sample of hyaluranic acide, sample of the emu oil, glyco eye cream.
I had a 1 hour and 15 minutes anti aging facial this afternoon. When I walked out, I felt great about my skin, but as the posts I have been reading tonight, for what I spent, it would be so much better to be able to do it at a fraction of the cost at home, many times over for the same amount of money. I will probably post back, to ask questions when all my products arrive. I love this board. |

GetMyYouthBack - great choices from platinumskincare. I would suggest ordering the copper peptides too. I just did my 2nd TCA 12.5% peel yesterday - my first 2 layer - a word of advice - go cautiously - and do not pick the loose skin off with tweezers like I did! Now very red and very painful too. |
