Clinique (too strong); Perricone (expensive and far less expensive versions exist), anything with parabens or silicone; anything that's aroma-free because aromas are part of the joy; drugstore eyeshadows (not enough pigment);anything and everything by Fusion (their CS is dismal and I find the products grossly overrated and "gimicky.") |

Skin care products that have ingredients that don't have science in them to back up their results on the skin.
The results may backed is so called In Vitro, in the body, on the skin of 20 people who they dried up like a prune before they started their study but this to me is not science. |

Then they say, "...19 of the 20 people noticed an immediate difference to the hydration of their skin and one dropped out due to (whatever)" just to make it sound authentic. |

BIOTHERM,CLINIQUE,even Chantecaille, I really don't like these brands' products, they don't have effects like they claimed, and even get my skin worse than before. |

I would have to say that I am not a fan of MAC Hyperreal foundation. Used to wear this all the time and although it makes your skin look great because of the pearly hue it leaves, be prepared to have all the black heads and break outs move in. I find their foundation is just too thick and clogs my pores. I love their eyeshadow but that's it. |

I would have to say that anything I bought at a supermarket I'd never go back to. Also, a few years ago I have tried Jurlique and it made my skin so bad that it took a few weeks for it to recover. Maybe I've had a reaction to some of the oils used in it, I don't know. I'd never go back to Jurlique in a milion years. |

Most brands sold in department stores are not worth of the price.
I prefer the products by pharmaceutical companies. |

Hi. (mature skin, a bit combination, dry around eyes and cheeks) I did not have a good response with these..plus unfortunately others over the years !!
Most Estee Lauder products, too much fragrance, not effective and a bit irritating.
Clinique similar..too harsh and little results re aging.
Lancome similar ..no results, clogging
Naturopica purifying mask, not sure of results re pore cleaning, seaweed mask was soothing but maybe clogging.
Cream de la Mer -did nothing, sat on the surface
Jurelique Herbal Recovery Gel, smells great but no real results
Prevage - did not seem to do anything |

like a lot of posters: clinique, biotherm and clarins... even they are not in the expensive price range, if they do nothing (or are even too harsh, as clinique) then its just wasted money... |

Murad - Was duped by the late-night infomercials espousing the "Murad glow"... for me that only equated to dry skin (and I have fairly oily skin). Specifically the "Anti-aging" products: AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser and the Refreshing Cleanser. Waste of alot of $$$!
Clinique has long been on my no-no list!
Generally I love Laura Mercier's products but the makeup primer irritated my skin terribly and I do not have sensitive skin. |

All these high end products with aqua (water) as main ingredient
lines filled with mineral oil and all petrochemicals
hazelnut oil with EO's added you gals know the brand just waaaay overpriced!
I really think I will drink my water and spritz it on my face before moisturizer.
I can mix my own carrier oil and EO's so much cheaper and easy!
Petroleum not on my body or face, in my gas tank until there is an alternative I can afford. |
