I wanted to re-post a general disclaimer to the, IMHO, insidiously evil nature of most apricot scrubbing products:

Please, please, please be careful with using any store-bought apricot scrubs if you are using them on your face. The jagged shell particles that give apricot scrubs their "scrubbing" ability can actually cause microscopic tears to the skin! Maybe the brand you're using is different/better, but I used St. Ives Apricot Scrub when I was a young teen (back in the early 80s -- before I knew any better) and I can see the damage it did to my skin now and I would never, ever use anything like that on my face again -- I don't even know if I would be willing to use it on my body, either...so, please be careful! If you absolutely *must* use an apricot scrub, use it with a light hand and don't scrub to hard!! You won't notice the damage until it's too late to reverse it.... |

At this very moment, my top 3 are:
1) Cellularskin Rx Relax-a-line
2) City Lips
3) Caudalie Total Night Care Night Cream
Of course, my favorites seem to change weekly. Although these 3 have been on the tops of my list for almost a month now.

carekate...thanks for the info...I had no idea. I have heard that it can do that but never noticed any damage on my skin. I have really bad whiteheads (milia) and it is the only thing that seems to work...can you recommend something else? |

If the milia aren't in your delicate eye area, then using an aspirin mask is quite effective, as I can attest from personal experience. The aspirin mask softens the skin covering the milia so much that it then becomes easy to extract the little "seed." Before discovering the aspirin mask, I had to resort to piercing the tough skin over the milia seed with one my mom's diabetic hypodermic needles before I was able to extract the seed. See the DIY skincare recipes sticky thread for basic "recipes" for aspirin mask. |

JuJu,
I am looking to try PSF's retinol products. I am currently using skinceutical's retinol night cream. Have you tried skincekutical's before? I wonder what is the difference.

Hi, Wildcat
I've used skinceutical's retinol night cream too. Skinceutical is a kind lihgt, silky, coating texture. PSF's retinol is slightly yellowish creamy texture that is more hydrating IMO. |

I love Aloette's Cellular Day Defense. I've tried the Lumitone and it made my face feel really soft but didn't fade those spots. |
