I have a few favorite facial sunscreens that I use.
Coola Sunsilk Drops SPF 30
Several of the EltaMD sunscreens for dry skin

I am currently using Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40. I am not sure I love it though. The formula when dispensed looks like Smashbox Photo Finish Primer and has that same silicone feel. I have used 2 different foundations on top of it, and it seems to cause a drag when using a brush to put on my foundations, making the foundations patchy and not blend on my skin. So, I ordered two new sunscreens, the Paula's Choice RESIST Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 and also ordered the Obagi Sun Shield Matte SPF 50. See if these other sunscreens work better with foundation.
Oops, I have to fix my footer below, I am no longer 43 years old. Lol. It's been a while since I have been on this forum, but always loved this page! |

Honestly my favourite is Thinkbaby Safe Sunscreen - it's got 20% zinc oxide, and goes on super white (it's a thick, emollient old school formula), but I still love it.
It's great for my dry skin with good protection, and also gives me a nice glow. The white cast fades after a few minutes and I cover whatever's left with some powder foundation and/or bronzer. |

EltaMD tinted spf 40 has been my go-to for at least 4 years now, summer and winter. It's the lazy option, two in one moisturizer + sun protection. I like that it's slightly plumping and gives me a lightly tanned look.
In the summer, I like to top it off with Avène Tinted Compact in beige for extra protection and a semi matte look. It's an additional SPF 50. |

Hi, I use Badger's all natural zinc oxide sunscreen that has somehow been processed to be completely clear...it just gives me a nice sheen. |

La Roche Pose is my favorite, followed by Nuetrogena's dry sunscreen that is for acne prone skin. |
