I will say that right now all I am using is Tazorac which is the only acne product (prescription or non-prescription) that has ever worked for the long term with results...and that includes Differn, Retin-A and two doses of Accutane.
However, finding a moisturizer to match my combo skin that quickly goes from super dry to oil pit depending on season, weather etc. has been problematic but I have found my HG...Ole Henriksen's Vitamin Plus--for oily/blemish prone skin. My skin is matte while letting my natural dewy-ness come through; I don't get the too dry mask feel and it's a cream that doesn't suffocate my skin. I have tried others since...gotta love Sephora samples but nothing else has come close for my skin. I def love love love it.
Additionally, my Clarisonic brush...my skin is baby soft, I think it makes my Tazorac more effective, my blackheads/pores are much less noticeable and in general it's the only exfoliate I use regularly.
I do have a huge list of things I want to try of course |

1) SkinCeutical C E Ferulic
a bit greasy for me but I like the result. My skin looks healthy and glows after one month
2)Skinmedica Retinol Complex
helps reduce smile line and firm skin
3)Dr Hauschka Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive
My skin is less sensative to temperature, and it also helps reduce sunburn. |

Hi, Wildcat
I've used skinceutical's retinol night cream too. Skinceutical is a kind lihgt, silky, coating texture. PSF's retinol is slightly yellowish creamy texture that is more hydrating IMO. |
what does psf stand for? and what age should one start using retinol im 28 |

1) Biogenie's Phytodemaq (best deep cleanser i ever used, so gentle, you can use it as often as you want. I been using this for the last 7 years. It goes deep beneath surface level and cleans the pores out)
2) San Soucis's Deep Moisture Depot (most hydrating serum i ever used. My beautician tells me that the flight attendents normally buy this from her to use on flights)
3) SKII facial treatment essence |

1. Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil
2. Vitamin C - both orally and topically as a serum, any brand seems to work for me
3. Shiseido Night Moisture Recharge lotion - I always come back to this basic moisturizer which is not too heavy, has a mild scent, effective as a moisturizer and is just BASIC so I can apply it over any serum |

Honestly, for a women of my age range I have tried and used an amazing list of products. I have to say that I now only use organic products so this limits my reference to the three best lines.
1) Jurlique - My favourite Product line!! I continuously keep coming back to their products over the last decade or so
2) ISUN - I love their products in all ways, although my skin does not
3) Dr. Hauschka is a cult classic and I have used their products for the last 17 years, since I lived in Switzerland at age 19~~~ |
