sark - I would use the BHA after the toner and the healing serum after the BBS and before the Chrysalyx. But if you want you COULD use it after the Chrysalyx, I don't think it matters that much. |

i actually just found their website and called - they said they're going to have a qvc special on march 10 where all 3 colors will be packaged together for $25! just out of curiosity, which color(s) did you try and what did you think of them? i love gel blushes, but hate that they all have such nasty ingredients, so these sound perfect |

I have the medium pink one, there are only 3 one is very dark one is very light pink, and I have the in between one. I think its called Strawberry?? Ill be interested to see it on QVC. I like them, but its more of a cream blush, not a gel blush. |

when i called they told me the dark one would look sort of apricot-like if applied lightly, the strawberry one is a pale pink, and the plum is a nice flushed look. i'm intrigued by all of them, and since they double as lip products, might just splurge on the trio. in terms of gel vs. cream, i'm not sure it matters too much - i just like the idea of being able to use it on bare skin for a nice, fresh, dewy look on the days when i don't want to go through the whole mineral makeup routine |

sark, the best thing is that these truly are 100% natural, amazing nowadays!! I think the medium color that I have is probably the most wearable. I can take a pic if you want - hold on ill take it right now and post in a sec. |

thanks! that's definitely my top pick, but i'm kind of curious if perhaps the dark one could work almost as a bronzer? btw, how do they wear over the course of a day? do they feel greasy/oily at all or cause breakouts? sorry for hijacking this thread |

Whew...haven't been on here regularly in a while...I apologize for missed posts...I'm not getting my email notifications!
I use it more as an "area treatment." I know it's meant only to spot treat but I don't have sensitive skin so my skin can tolerate a thin layer over a small area. I use it ever night, but only use it in the morning if I need to...which hasn't been a lot since I've found my routine But that said...some people might peel or flake as it might be too drying to use except directly on the blemish.

Okay it's official. This stuff is my HG for blemishes.
I've had three small whiteheads in the past month. THAT'S IT. Nothing else. HOW COOL IS THAT?
This stuff is awesome. I'm completely sold. I can't believe how clear my skin has been since starting this stuff. I don't flake or get overly dry with it. All it takes is 2 to three drops...I can treat larger areas (though it is recommended to JUST put it on the blemish because it can dry out your skin) without problem.
And the price is awesome...you can't go wrong. |
so do you not only use it to spot treat? do you use it all over on a regular basis? |

OMG, I forgot I had dug this up and used it on my clogged pores around my nose and mouth. I have been raving about SKB for the past 3 days, but it was this product that cleared me up! I had forgotten I had read sormuimui's response about using it as a facial treatment. I just applied it to the areas and totally forgot about it for 3 days I was clear (yes, the clogged pores came back). I'm keeping this out where I can see it from now on. |

The healing serum is my HG for those cystic pimps that sneaks up on me. Still works for me. |

Can this be used as a preventive measure or is there some other serum that you use? |

I use this to treat and prevent.
I had a huge cystic pimple on my cheek from studying and resting my head in my left hand. It actually appeared yesterday and got really big as of last night. I loaded this on before bed and massaged it a little and today it's greatly reduced...almost gone!!!
I heart this serum...I'll never be without it! |

Tx Paris, seems that LOADING is the key here. I have been using just a tiny drop for fear of drying out my skin. |

Everyone is different - some people will find that a tiny drop will do it - others will require more. Some will find that the healing serum dries their skin, others won't have that problem.
I think one of the 'key' things is massaging it in (gently). You don't want to irritate the area, but you do want to be sure that the oil is really getting 'into' the skin. |

do you find that the healing serum helps bring the zit to a head, so you can extract it, or that it brings it down instead, or does it depend on the blemish? |

My personal experience is that it 'shrinks' them & they disappear. |

I also find that using this helps those scabs or the piece of dry skin (left behind from the zit) come off faster. Of those who read my "do I need to see a derm" post well it's only been four days and ALL those cysts have completely healed and the scabs/dry skin have come off, now I'm just left with red pigmentation.
Talk about fast healing! |

I completely agree...massaging it in makes a HUGE difference.

This is really not the appropriate place to put this, but I just wanted to say I ordered the BHA/AHA product Friday night, it shipped out Saturday, and I got it today. I am extremely impressed. Exceptional customer service!
I only have 1 question if anyone can answer, do I apply the BHA/AHA product with my fingers or with a cotton ball as it seems very liquid? Thanks in advance! |

Rileygirl - either option will work fine. But personally I just pour a small amount into palm of my hand and apply with fingertips. It goes "farther" that way, as you don't have issues with excess product soaking into the cotton ball. |

You can apply it either way - it's just a matter of preference.
I prefer to apply with my fingers because I feel like I use less/waste less product. I just carefully wet the tips of the middle 3 fingers on my right hand, rub on my face - and if I need more, I repeat. I probably use less than 1/4 tsp. altogether.
And I'm glad you got your product so quickly!! |

I use the same method...putting a little in my palm and applying it that way.
I bet half of the product ends up not being used when you apply with cotton balls! |

I agree! Using a cotton ball seems to waste a lot of product. I used them for years, and don't want to think about how much I wasted, LOL! |
