I want to try this product but I read a kind of creepy review of Renovage by Paula Begoun (Cosmetics Cop) in Beautipedia. Renovage is in the product being discussed in this thread. For an provocative opinion see the review under Osmotics Renovage Cellular Eye Repair. Begoun and colleagues write "This silicone-enhanced, emollient eye cream's claims aren’t anything new, except for the claim of increasing the lifespan of cells. Doing so is not recommended for numerous reasons, with the most serious being overstimulation of cellular life span can lead to uncontrolled cell growth, which is the basic blueprint for cancer. Moreover, unless the cells in question can be repaired completely, you would be extending the lifespan of damaged cells, which can wreck further havoc on skin."
Just something to think about...I personally want to hold out for just a bit more research before jumping into this type of product. I will keep following this thread. |

I did see another site, Lotioncrafter has a link to an MSDS safety sheet on the ingredient Renovage, aka Geranylgeranylacetone. From what I read it, is not mutagenic which would be cause for concern. What I would say about Paula Begoun, aka the "Cosmetics Cop" is that although she touts herself as a skincare expert, she is not a medical doctor, dermatologist or a plastic surgeon or chemist. She is an aesthetician by trade and of course a writer, speaker, appears on TV and has her own website. She also has a vested interest in selling her own product line. But, that said, certainly any ingredient should be scrutinized for its safety, I just haven't seen a whole lot published on it even though apparently it's been on the market since 2009 or earlier. As I mentioned earlier, I went to EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetic's database (a non-profit watchdog organization) and none of the ingredient names were listed. Perhaps Nanci would have more information. ~ Aprile |

I also love Ageoff serum. I started using this this DNA at the beginning of the month I have used it 2x a day every day and I don't have a clue as to what it is supposed to do! I haven't seen it do anything, unlike Ageoff which was immediate for me, so no they are nothing alike. |

Are there any similarities in the ingredients of both serums?
Also, where are you purchasing the Ageoff from?
I've been using the NCN DNA Serum for about a month and, as yet, have nothing to report. I found the pump bottle really bad - the serum spurted everywhere so I had to transfer it to a dropper bottle. |

Keliu, I thought I was the only one with that spurting problem.
For me, the serum has a very mild effect, noticeable if I've not slept enough. The effect seems to be temporary. |

I got my Ageoff from Novecare. I think I am going back to SkinMinus it is less money and not much different than Ageoff, either way I love what they do for my skin.
It is very different from the DNA. I also had the splurting issue with the bottle! I will continue to use DNA until it is gone in the hope that I too will see a change of some sort. |

I saw they sell SkinMinus on the Shopping Channel.
I've had great luck with the DNA serum - it really perks up your face - I look forward to it everyday. A great combo with Ageless Secret (for me that is). |

Keilu I use all the Ageoff products accept for the Weightloss one. They are amazing.
Their sleep formula capsules are wondeful and I wouldn't be without them.
I feel and look much better since starting taking Ageoff and the serum.
Shipping is horrendous and took 3 months to get here!
I now deal directly with the CEO Ryan and order by email and use expediated shipping.
It costs a fortune but its here in under a week! |

Is this HSN or the shopping channel in Canada?

Never mind, it's the one in Canada and they don't ship to the U.S. Bummer! |

Again I would love to try the Minus serum but I am in Australia and the shipping is too expensive. |

I'm not really expecting to see a whole lot before a month. I would rather use something for the long term effects than instant. Nanci's formula just looks so good it has to work. All I need for the face is less than 2 drops and I haven't had any problems with the bottle. |

Hi everyone! I'm chiming in..... first of all thanks to all of you who got the DNA Serum! I'm just thrilled that the majority of you are seeing results with it. Thank you for your feedback that you've emailed me directly too!
I have a tip for using it - cup your hand and push the treatment pump down only 1/2 way. However, if you're still having the same issue with it squirting, please PM me and I'll be more than happy to send you a disc top to replace the treatment pump.
Thanks again! Nanci |

Just wanted to report back to say that my fears of potential dryness proved to be completely unfounded. I've now been using this twice daily for just over a week and it's keeping my skin, including my especially dry undereye area, nicely moisturised.
I haven't seen any dramatic results yet (and wouldn't expect to until I've used it for longer), but I'm liking the feel of it on my skin. It may even be helping my upper eyelid area, although it's early days yet to make a definite comment on that. |

Right, I'm now really beginning to see why this product is proving so popular. At first, I liked the moisturisation boost, but it took a couple of weeks before I saw a difference in my actual complexion.
I'm no scientist and haven't a clue whether this stuff is actually repairing my DNA or not - all I know is that my skin is starting to look clearer, brighter and more plumped up. Again, that could simply be due to its moisturisation properties rather than anything else; whatever the case, I love it!
It's also making the skin under my eyes feel more comfortable and reducing the drying out effect of a long day wearing makeup. In fact, I think I may be able to ditch my undereye concealer as that area is now looking so much better.
I've been looking for a product for a long time which could match up to my beloved Remergent DNA Repair for the way it improved the look of my complexion. Whilst I still highly rate the NIA 24 Intensive Skin Treatment, this new serum seems to be suiting me even better so far. It's the best Remergent replacement I've yet managed to find.
Thanks so much for recommending it! |

I am thrilled you are liking this product because it is still making changes in my skin and I am LOVING it!I took some pictures of my under eye area this morning before I put anything on my face and I couldn't believe how hydrated my under eye area is! I probably drove Nanci crazy when I first started using this product because I kept emailing her telling her about what I was experiencing. Glad that others have fallen in love with it too. I can't believe I no longer need any type of moisturizer at night. |

majorb I agree with the no need for concealor comment. I don't think about it most of the time. I also like the bouyancy it seems to have given my skin - feel it and see it.
Re: NCN - she has some really interesting anti-aging products these days. |

Toby - I'm using much less moisturiser and probably could do without it at night also. With my skin tending to be so dry, this is pretty impressive.
Sis - I'm even considering popping out today without make-up. That's something I'd normally NEVER do now that I'm over 40! I've also lost a lot of weight and felt that face was suffering a little bit for that, looking somewhat gaunt and looser skin than before. It's definitely plumped back up again. Whilst I don't look like a 20 year old, I'm certainly no longer feeling like a decrepit old prune anymore, since this DNA stuff has kicked in! |
