ATester you're very welcome:)

I didn't read whole tread, so I'm not sure if you guys know or familiar with second Tanaka video.
For those who didn't see it yet, you can watch it here:

rutube.ru/tracks/2656145.html

Tanaka second video showing some modification for her first massage - Years range from 20 to 60 years old + different face shape
From the beginning of video:
First girl showing exercise for 30 years old
Second - for 50 years old
Third - for 40 years old
Forth - for 60 years old
Fifth - for 20 years old

Where does these come from? Strange as the first one they put out I thought was for all ages, and the link doesn't load on my computer - but is she doing different things for different ages, thats one of the reasons why I think its so important to have proper instructions to avoid mishaps!

Hello everyone,I have tried Tanaka facial massage for a long time.I did the massage twice a day for several months.Unfortunately,my face seem more sagging and ageing. My apple of the cheek become sunken after the massage. And the nasolabial grooves appear due to the loss of fat on the cheek.I'm so regretful doing the massage. It causes my facial muscles out of shape. Sad Crying or Very sad Please help me.What should I do to recover? Can I solve the problem by useing some solutions for saggin face? Thanks, guys.

I am sorry to hear that! I did the Tanaka massage daily for about 2 months, and noticed the same effects. Just after massage everything looks and feels fine, but afterwards the sag comes back with a vengeance. I think the massage was intended to make people look good on tv, that is, give a temporary tightening.

I have been doing Tanaka daily using sweet almond oil, after massage I used hot face towel to gently remove/steam my face, 3 times, then wipe out with toner, then moisturize. I see results but have breakouts along jaw lines and chin areas. Anyone have any suggestion, should I reduce the frequency, change oil or any steps? Thanks so much.

westsound I had a same problem with breakouts. And I found one solution which work better for my skin. Instead of oil or any creams (btw I heard Tanaka do not suggesting to use for her massage any oil) I start to use mineral or distilled water (to keep reapplying water on your face, you need to have a bowl of water set it in front of you) You can add a few drops of rose water to it or squeeze a little of lemon juice, steep any herbal teabag and etc. But before I think you better stop to doing this massage at least for a couple of days, until your skin will heal and clear again;)

Thanks Mint. I already stopped for a couple of days and will resume either today or tomorrow, using water only. I will report back. Smile I usually follow my takana massage with lotion mask, using Japanese lotion I ordered from Sasa online.

I learnt how to do a certain facial massage this past summer... certain steps were very simylar to Tanaka, and what was used was what was called in English "Diamond" water... the results of the massage plus the water in the two day workshop were amazing...
Wanted to bring this up in the sense that the Tanaka massage has simylarities with what I was taught,
the "diamond" water is called "agua diamantina" where I live, I believe by what I was taught that the water "diamantina" has something to do, which makes sense with what Tanaka said about not using oil...

http://net.addr.com/eaudiamant/diamondwater.htm

Quote:
WHAT IS DIAMOND WATER ?

It is spring water which has had its vibrational rate accelerated; this allows it to access higher Life and Intelligence, making it available to respond to the user's intentions.

The technology used to transform this spring water uses the science of numbers as well as music, which is living geometry based on sound. The end result is an encoding device which permits the recording of multi-dimensional codes; these transform the spring water into a receiving medium which then captures higher energies.

When you verbalise intentions to bring you relief, well-being or the resolution of your challenges, you can now record these intentions within the medium of Diamond Water. When swallowed, the Diamond Water associates your spoken intention directly with the corresponding memory of opposite polarity held in your subconscious (the body cells). The activity of the Diamond Water then elevates both the opposite poles concerned until they vibrate at a much higher frequency. This induces a neutralising energy which transforms and resolves these conflicting opposites.

Diamond Water, which is represented by the number 999, brings human beings to a point where they can integrate the Third Level of Consciousness, known as "the Consciousness of the Tree of Life". This allows them to progressively release the Second Level of Consciousness, known as "the Consciousness of the Tree of Good and Evil". Here we are concerned with the Tree of Life with its twelve kinds of fruit, referred to in Revelations 22: 1-2. The twelve kinds of fruit are in fact the twelve chakras of man, finally re-activated by the integration of that Consciousness where opposing poles no longer confront each other, but rather complement each other producing a Third State at Point Zero. Man thus becomes that Place where the uninterrupted flow of light energy pours through a physical body which becomes an ever greater "supra-conductor".

This Diamond Water is feminine by nature and designed to receive impressions. It cannot be defined using masculine terms such as strength or efficiency but rather in terms of "loving and wise responses".

The strength of this water resides in its response to the "sacred verbalisation of our intentions" (see ALCHEMY OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT by Kryon, French edition by Ariane, Quebec, p.266). Diamond Water is virgin - nothing is recorded in it. Only when you vocalise your intentions through the heart - which purifies them - will you impress them upon this strongly responsive medium. The results will depend directly on what you imprint upon the Diamond Water medium and the degree of emotional charge behind it.

Diamond Water's level of consciousness operates beyond the fourth dimension. In effect, positive - negative polarity does not exist at this level. If anyone attempts to measure this level of consciousness and its activity on a dowser's scale (or any other calibrated scale), the only thing measured will be positive or negative output resulting from the dualistic memories of the user, as re-transmitted by the Diamond Water.

The best way of appreciating Diamond Water is to use it on yourself and verify your own results.

You can reproduce and distribute Diamond Water at will; please feel free to do the same with this text. To reproduce Diamond Water, pour 100 ml (millilitres) of it into an empty 1-litre bottle.
Add still spring or mineral water until the bottle is full.

You will always need a minimum 10% of Diamond Water in a new mixture to ensure that the transformation takes place. For one litre, allow minimum 1h1/2 hours for the transformation. For bigger quantities it is best to mix before retiring: the new Diamond Water will be ready for you in the morning. With a litre you can then make 10 litres and so on. Don't forget to retain 10% of what you mix so you can make the next batch. This water is one of many new products announced by Kryon (DON'T THINK LIKE A HUMAN, Book 2 pp 143-144, French edition from Ariane, Quebec).

Diamond Water made from spring water will serve not only for your personal growth intentions, but also as excellent drinking water. You can always add a simple intention such as "I intend digesting this meal with ease." You can, however, also add Diamond Water to tap water (faucet water) and use it for cooking. In this instance, the intention could be "I intend this food to yield its natural flavours and nutritive value fully to all who eat it" - results can be striking! Feel free to use it in humidifiers, sending forth the intention that it raise the vibrational level of the room=s atmosphere; the same can be done with a bowl of water in any room. If you have no particular intention, Diamond Water will in any case have a beneficial effect on your physical health and psyche.

SIMPLE HINTS :

State your intentions out loud with firm conviction.

When fighting an uphill battle, it helps to repeat this process at least 4 times a day.

When applying Diamond Water externally to irritations or painful areas, for best results mix with a natural ointment after verbalising an intent and then apply.

You can use Diamond Water with the intent of improving relationships & your work life.

Intentions for improved health, blossoming happiness, love and satisfaction are key necessities for the body; as it is the soul's instrument, the body needs and merits such attention.

You can issue the intent to cleanse and protect your subtle bodies from the psychic and emotional pollution which they are exposed to daily.

If you so desire, the harmful effects of alcohol and chemical ingredients will be very effectively neutralised.

Don't forget your domestic plants and animals.

When you can, please pour some Diamond Water into springs, lakes, rivers, swimming pools, dolphinariums etc. The ocean benefits, even from small quantities, over time. Wherever whales and dolphins swim is important: they themselves have requested this help.

Feel free to innovate and live these experiences to the full - you will be the first to benefit.

DIAMOND WATER IS PART OF A WAKE-UP PLAN FOR YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS. I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE FREELY AS A LOVE OFFERING: IT WILL ITSELF COMPENSATE YOUR OWN EFFORTS TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF AND THE MIRRORS LIFE HOLDS UP TO YOU.

I've been doing this massage for 4 days morning and night, mainly, and I have no words to say how much my skin and overall face has improved : bags, wrinkles, etc. I don't know if you are supposed to do it twice a day or just once. Anyway, do any of the girls here know if the results will be cumulative or if I'm doing too much (twice a day)? I just don't want to ruin all the progress I had these days doing it too much. This massage is THE BOMB!

The book recommends to do one massage in the morning, one at night. I have been doing it for 2+ years, it is still the only thing that I keep doing/using.

Again, it depends on people, I remember some said it's too much to do twice a day, or some said they achieve better result to massage 2-3 times a week.

I used La Collin massage cream (Salon formula). I have recently switched to Eve Lom cleanser, love it!

Thank you, critic. Twice a day has worked for me. I do it with jojoba or avocado oils because my skin tends to be on the dry side. It's just amazing how instantly I appear with less wrinkles around my eyes and much more refreshed during the day. My children have noticed, also. Honestly, it's the best thing I've done to my face, including cosmetic surgery which I won't be having anymore. Cool

I've uses this massage for about a year. I am Caucasian with strong bone structure and not a lot of fat to my face. For myself I find once per day or less about right. I use pure coconut oil to massage. What I did find was using light pressure in the cheek are produced better results than heavy pressure like in the video. I don't have a lot of lymph or fat to drain in that area so just enough pressure to encourage circulation (make the skin pink) is the ticket for me. Where this massage really shines is in draining my eye area. I am prone to water retention in this area and it's cured what appeared to be the development of permanent eye bags. The skin under my eyes is also tight and smooth now.

Twice a day produced great results for about a week then my skin started to looked stressed from it. So I cut back to either once per day or once every couple of days. Over the past year I have noticed an improvement in the tone of the skin under my eyes, softening of lines in the periorbital socket and a healthy glow as long as I don't overdo it.

I have uploaded a photo of a HK actress, she is probably at her 50. I've noticed that my face has similar problem as her, can you see there is 2 lines under her eye bags? I don't have eye bags at all but that 2 lines will show my real age. So, I took out the Tanaka book and re-read during the weekends, try to press harder for a few steps which are focusing that area and it works! That 2 lines have disappeared. BTW, how do you call those 2 lines?

Hey Critic,

How have you been using lately??? Do you see any further improvement for doing Tanaka's massage for more than 2 years? I guess you probably look even prettier and lovelier now than I met you last time in HK!

I've been doing the massage occasionally. It firms up the face a bit but it doesn't really me to restore the fullness of my cheeks which was ruined by facial exercises 2 years ago! Now I just started another program which hopefully could reverse the adverse effect!

Hello Moonstone,

It's great to hear from you! Does the new program work for your face?

I am still doing 2 times Tanaka massages, but as said, I have to pressed harder. Gentle presses no longer work for me, and I hate to see the 2 lines marked under my eye area.

I am now using a TCM hammer-like tool for my back, thighs and arms, together with a strong massage techniques for my tummy area. I really like them. I no longer take the Chinese herbal tonic but sleep like a baby these days.

Hi Critic,

Actually, I just started to do the new program yesterday in hope of correcting the hollowing cheeks I experienced as a result of those aggressive exercises. I decided to give the new program a try after reading that a couple of members swear by the program which help them to reverse the unfavorable outcome of those aggressive programs. Will definitely keep you updated if I notice any improvement.

I've been using "ReVive" eye renewal cream since year 2007 and I swear it helps me to eliminate all the lines under my eyes. Perhaps you could check it out sometimes!

The TCM hammer technique sounds very interesting and hopefully you could tell me more about it! Smile

Hi Critic,
Is the book only about the massage technique or does it recommend other procedures, or creams, or whatever?
Thanks, A.

I have been doing the youtube version of Tanaka massage for about two weeks, and I haven;t had a single headache! This is amazing for me because I usually always have a headache! My face seems good too, not massively different, but I'm only 25 so there's not a lot to change at this stage.
For the headache reason alone I love this massage! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

It is an easy to read book, only with a few chapters, Chapter one is like an intro with reasons to massage, why you have to massage, reasons that Tanaka developed the program etc... One chapter with details description of every step (at least 7-8 points per step), e.g. how to move, where to focus - don't think you can tell from the video. Another chapter is detail comparison of before/after massage of the model and a reader. The last chapter is more like repeating all steps, offer some encouragement.

It recommend to use Y Method massage cream (developed by Tanaka), which is very expensive and my guess it's only available in Japan. Approx. USD160 / 200g.

I am using Eve Lom cleansing cream or La Colline Facial massage cream, like them both!

Has anyone found a solution to the breakouts? I love this massage but I always get at least 4 huge painful cysts along my lymph path- my jawline, temples, my hairline (luckily a lot get hidden there).

I've tried: massaging with gel cleanser instead of oil, blood-cleansing herbs like red clover and burdock, and my blue light tanda. The tanda helps them go away much faster, but it doesn't prevent them from appearing.

Makes me sad because I can really see the difference with massage. My boyfriend can, too, which is my gold standard for if something works or not.
