i have been reading up on the ACV toner, am really eager to try this!
i purchased apple cider vinegar, bergamot (pure essential oil) and wheat germ base oil (the oils are from The Body Shop) and im confused about how to blend/dilute the oils...
im sure its me being thick but do i need an oil carrier to burn these or do i just mixed the 2 oils together (the leaflet i have from the TBS says 3 drops of bergamot and 10ml base oil). if i mix it do i need a special container for this....
apologies if this sounds obvious
hope someone can help |

hey purple princess...
when mixing Essential oils in an ACV toner you don't need a carrier oil, but you need to shake your bottle of toner before you use it each time. That way the e-oils get "re-mixed" with the rest of the toner and don't float on top of the liquid.
If your putting bergamot in your ACV toner you need to be aware that you shouldn't expose yourself to the sun for at least 12 hours after application. Bergamot is a part of the citrus fruit family and makes your skin photosensitive...
You can use your wheatgerm oil in an OCM mixture and / or as a moisturizer. It's supposed to help refine pores and be good for problem skin / dry skin. I've read that it should be used in a 10% dilution with other carrier oils
Hope that helps some... Have fun and good luck!
