My eyes are extrememly sensitive. Most days they are bloodshot with a really nice yellow hue to them. I've been to my family doctor, my eye doctor and to many ocular specialists. They cannot find a cause for this. Some days are worse than others. I have been wearing make up for 21 years, and the same brands of eye makeup for the last year or two so I don't think it's MU to blame. I have mild allergies now and again, but even after I treat it my eyes are still gross. I've tried every eye drop on the market. I've just resigned myself to the fact that my eyes (which BTW were my best feature ) are doomed to be gross. I've decided to really baby them, which leads me to the question--can anyone recommend a very gentle yet effective eye cream....a homemade recipe would be preferrable, but either is good.....Also....can anyone suggest something to try to reduce the red/yellow? |

I know you said you've been to see doctors about this, but yellow in the eyes sometimes is a sign of liver problems.
A few years ago my husband started having uncontrollable itching all over his body. No rashes, marks or anything, just terrible itching. He couldn't even sleep. About a week later he woke up one morning with a golden yellow shade where the whites of his eyes should be. Within 24 hours his skin all over his body turned the same shade. It turned out the Rx Minocycline he had been taking for years for Rosacea had attacked his liver. He almost died from the complications.
Please keep in check with your doctors about the yellow hue if it continues.

Thank you Cheri, and I hope your husband is now well...
It's funny you should mention this, because today I was thinking something along this line. I've been taking anti depressants for years, and I've heard that they are not very kind to your liver. It's worth looking into.... |

I have very sensitive eyes, too, and have found that Aubrey Organics makes a gentle eye cream - I think it's called luminessence. It never gave me any problems but it did spoil after a while (maybe keeping it in my steamy bathroom didn't help). |

Hi, i had an allergy prob, i couldnt eat beans...becuz my body couldnt handle the proteins contained inside it, i didnt have the proper enzymes to do so, anyways, I went some place and I eat beans, by mistake, all my face became yellow...and specially my eyes!!!!
I was losing blood, actully blood cells when urinating, since that protein acted as an oxydant...etc...anyways, when i got my treatment, which was blood transfusion and alot of rest. My eyes were still yellow, so what i did was, go away from the computer for sometime or tv..etc..too much time on the pc, damages ur eyes...anyways, and i spent 2 weeks, eating baby carrots with my regular meals. I mean, like 400g to 1kg daily :P
by suprise, my eyes were white like milk
Also, yellow eyes are due to liver problems...
Or to eyes being damaged externally, maybe ur applying products that go inside your eyes?
U need Iron in ur diet, which u can find in eather animal liver, beef for example or in lenses, vegetable Iron.
Try to resolve ur matter naturally! Doctors are no doctors now a days...when i went to the hospital, they didnt even know what was my problem!!!???
They thought i was on drugs or something...
anyways...my skin got..u can say "holes" inside it, like if it was pores wide open...due to a stupid doctor, who gave me some pills that made it this way...now im stuch with this, becuz of him.
Anyways, I hope that helps!!!
good luck!
