Are loose powders better for oily skin than the pressed variety?
I heard someone mention recently that those of us "blessed" with oily skin should stick to using loose powders as the pressed ones can contain oils/waxes which are used as binding agents that will contribute to the oiliness of our skin.
I did a quick check on the internet and found a couple of sites that mentioned loose powders being preferable for oily skin over the pressed versions.
Just wondered if anybody had any thoughts on this.
I've always used pressed finishing powders but I'm starting to think perhaps I should be switching to loose powder. |

I don't think it really matters. Sometimes I apply loose powder at home and I don't like to carry a large container with me in my purse. Normally I do carry MAC blotting sheets but there is no mirror to quickly check how you look if you are out. |
