Hi Summertimegirl, you mentioned in a previous post that you use this as a toner. I don't use toner, but am interested in trying this. What is it like? I read that the ingredients say Evian mineral water propelled by nitrogen. Does any of the nitrogen go on the skin? Can you just use regular evian water? thanks |

Hi Thoughtcrime,
I don't actually use a toner either after cleansing, but I liked something to prime my skin before I moisturise-- I thought it would be nice to use Evian mineral water sprays as I heard that it was pure. A layer or two sprayed after I cleansed gives my skin a really nice hydrated feel-- the mist is super fine and cooling and when it dries soon after, I moisturise. I've been using it as a toner ever since and a can of this spray fits really well into my skincare regime. If you don't use a toner this would be nice to try as it's really gentle, and is scent-less. It would be good for people with sensitive skins who can't tolerate harsh astringent toners. I can actually keep my eyes wide opened when I spray it on.
The nitrogen contained in Evian Mineral spray is safe and completely natural, unlike chemicals in other propellant spray cans.
I like sprays that you can keep with you to hydrate and refresh your face during the day-- I had a can of H2O's Oasis Mist which I kept at the office for occasional misting but didn't like it as it seemed to tightened my skin. (It also had a salty taste from the marine content in it).
I haven't found that feeling with the Evian Mineral water spray, it's just a great find!

I just wanted to add that in France, Evian has it's own line of skincare products sold in supermarkets, hygenically packaged in their own plastic "pouches"-- that amazed me as I thought Evian only made bottled water and sprays! |

Sorry this is a bit off topic, but has anybody tried the Shu Uemura spray on 'toners'? The ones that come in all different varieties (and thus colours ). |
