I'm so excited! I just finished my grade 8 examination, and my teacher said that I should open my own studio and teach a few kids. I've already got 3 students...but I'm sort of nervous! My piano teacher said that since I look really young, I'll have to wear black to make myself look professional and to be taken seriously.
Soo...I need a name for my studio. I'll probably just call it Tia's Music Studio or some uncreative title like that.
Aha...yes, thirty bucks an hour...here I come! I normally spend my time working in my dad's office for 8 bucks an hour in the summer stuffing brochures, making telephone calls, updating account information...all that crappy work! But to do something that I LIKE to do and get paid lots for it (well, I've only got 3 students but still)...AWESOME.
I don't know. Just thought I'd share. I'm pretty darn excited.
And the little girl that wants to take lessons is SO adorable.
"Will you teach me to play twinkle twinkle little star?"
I don't know HOW you could be cuter. |

How exciting!! Congratulations!!! What an awesome way to make money, I'm so jealous! I wish I was a better musician so I could teach, too. Enjoy your job - how wonderful that you have such a flexible and creative way to make a living. |
