Hi
I personally hate the range, I find it really overpowering for my skin. I have tried the vit c powder which didn't make any difference to my skin but just made it sting and go blotchy. The Hope in a Jar moisturiser is a weird consistency, it's like it's oily and really takes forever to rub in, I didn't get on with that at all. I did try the microdelivery which again didn't seem to make any difference and it was so full of chemicals that it put me off. I also find that the stupid sayings/slogans on the pots are so unhelpful and nothing at all with how to use the product.
Just my opinion. |

I have looked at this range but it always seemed over rated to me. |

I was not impressed when like sarahb I saw it was full of chemicals and the range looks over priced. |

My daughter (16) uses Hope in a Jar and loves it. But it gave my son (13) lots of rashes and patches. The 2nd morning after he 1st used it he got the rashes and patches, stupid me asked him to use it again the 2nd night. You should see his face the 3rd morning. Now my son refuses to use anything I give him.
It's been 2 weeks now he's still recovering. |

I really liked the When Hope Is Not Enough for my very dry skin. It's best to apply it by patting it gently into the skin, though - similar to the Crème de la Mer application method, as it otherwise can seem to "separate" and feel watery.
I know that sounds weird, but it's very hydrating and good for firming too.
I also found the Hope in A Jar Eye/Lip stuff to be good. |

I had a terrible experience with this line of products. I am mature with slightly oily skin. I went to Sephora and spent far too much money because I was lured by the ads and her presentations on QVC. Within a week, my skin was in ruins. It was dehyrated, rough and erupting left and right. The cleanser was harsh, the hope in a jar gave me a face chock full of pimples. The only product that was okay is the Microdelivery Peel. I am using it now because I bought it but would not re-purchase.
I spent weeks after I stopped using the products on a face diet of Oil of Olay cleanser and lightweight moisturizer, if that. I then turned to PSF skin care - the Papaya Cleansing Gel and the Vitamin C Serum. I still use Oil of Olay in the evening and use a non-oily night cream with Hydroquinone. My skin has never looked better. |

I used hope in a jar and liked it but I didnt think it was heavy enough for winter so I stopped using it. The eye and lip creams (hope in a tube) worked really well but then I found dermalogica and I like it much better (intensive eye cream). I used their Vit C (powder) and didnt notice anything. The lip balm is ok...nothing to special. The exfoliant...I think it is called the greatest love...was terrible. It is very oily and the exfoliant grains are very rough...left little cuts.
I used Dr. H also but it made my milia much worse so I stopped using that too. Good luck! |
