Hi! Are you looking for a matte or dewy finish? Medium or full coverage? High-end or d/s? For medium coverage I like Estee Lauder's Futurist Age Resisting Foundation. Lasts all day and doesn't emphasize pores. LaPrairie's Caviar foundation is very nice, gives a soft, luminous finish, but very $$$. Chanel & Dior also have some very good choices, depending on skintype. If you can, try samples first so you can get an idea if it wears well all day. hth |

I have oily skin and I like Vincent Longo Creme to Powder Water Canvas foundation(it's not liquid, but it is really nice--you should try it! Your skin looks very natural--not too matte, but not shiny either) and Armani Luminous or Matte silk foundation. |

i use Revlon colour stay stay natural which isn't as expensive as the other brands like Dior and Chanel or Lancomé. i looove this makeup, it looks so natural and it pretty much stays on thru everything, even an all day music festival in 30 degree celcius heat didn't wipe it off! |

I have combo/oily skin in the summer and I loved revlon color stay...i also like dream matte (maybelline) and pure makeup (maybelline)...I just bought the last two and I've had success. Depending on coverage dermalogica tinted moisturizer gives a nice dewy finish and the moisturizer isnt too heavy. |

Revlon ColourStay - you can get this in either Stay Natural which is medium coverage or just Colourstay which is full. It is oil free and great for oily skin. i also use the matching concealer and i'm telling you, i have money to buy more expensive makeup but i wouldn't dare stray from this because it is SO GOOD. my skin seriously looks like those of women in magazines - flawless. i use the whole combo of this range - liquid foundation, concealer and their powder compact too - this may sound like alot to people but the makeup is so light, you don't even feel like ur wearing it and it looks SO NATURAL.
and as i said before it won't rub off - the packing actually says 'stays on for 16 hours'.. as i've never timed it, i don't know but i do know that i spent from 7am-12midnight at a summer music festival in harsh Australian heat and it barely rubbed off. i havea been using this makeup for probably 2 years now and i can't see me changing soon
hope that helps |

I like the Bobbi Brown line. Goes on nice, covers really well, and it doesn't feel heavy.
Recently, I have been using the Lauren Hutton face Disk and I must admit I LOVE IT!
FYI: I used EL for years. My color was Linen. I liked EL until I tried BB. I need the yellow undertones and many of the DS brands and even EL are too pink for me.
No matter which makeup I use, I found that the trick that worked for me was using the Decleor ylang ylang oil and Matte Fluid with my makeup. This really seems like the glue for my skin. I used to get so oily my makeup would wipe off or have to apply powder all the time. The Decleor line has made a big difference for me and when I run out of my samples I'm buying the big ones from EDS....and keep my fingers crossed to someday win the weekly drawing. Hahaha! |
