Has anyone had IPL? Is it worth it? |

I have that question too!!! I have broken capillaries on / under my nose and it's getting worse and worse and worse. It started when I was 15, a small red dot and now I have about 15 dots form a HUGE circle. |

A friend of mine recently did this for discoloration(red spots) on her face. She is very pleased. It totally worked for her. She felt a zap, stingy burning, but no really big discomfort. The spots are now almost completely gone. I think it is suitable for discoloration(old red marks, broken capillaries, etc), but not for any actually scars(indentations, pits, etc.) |

I have had 3 full, 1 partial and 1 yag laser (spot). The last IPL finally made more of a breakthru. My husband has bad rosacea and has had 2 full and 1 yag. It was painful even with the numbing cream, but very well worth it for red spots and rosacea. It does feel like a snapping or as my husband describes it, "Sparks from a sparkler landing on your skin." Some spots do need repeat treatments if they are bad enough. |

It can even out skintone. I had very light sunspots and it did fade them. |
