I just saw a quickie commercial on this lip plumper that is supposed to be better than all the rest....it's available at Walgreens and CVS? It contains "Vorexin" whatever the dang that is... Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Here's what they say:

| I did a search on this.. It's been out a few years and the reviews I found were all bad.. They said it didn't work at all, let alone do what they claim...I found it on Walgreens site, got the name and then googled it.. I think it's called Lip Explosion... I don't think I'll waste $27.00 on it.. Not right now anyway, until I find lots of good reviews... |

Yikes, maybe I won't be trying it. The way the commercial sounded, it looked like it was a brand new product.

| Don't feel all alone, I've never heard of it either...LOL I saw a review or something about it, anyway, from, I think early 2000's... It did appear they may have taken the lip irratint out now, but it's all still the same and the same speel, from back then to now.. At least from what I could tell.. If anyone finds other info, please let us know.. |

I heard about this one a couple years ago, when my lip plumping “quest” first started but I managed to resist the impulse to try it after I read about it here http://www.lipaugmentation.com/lip_plumpers.htm and found that the researcher was unable to find out any documentation about what “vorexin” actually was.
I got the feeling that Lip Explosion was up there in the same category as those “miracle” dark eye circle treatments from Hydroderm and Hylexin who took out big, splashy advertisements (and even bought space in beauty magazines where they post “must try” products every month) claiming that their products were revolutionary and could only be bought at “prestigious” retailers like Saks, Nordstroms, Sephora, etc., but when shoppers tried to buy it from those places, nobody had ever heard of the products.
You guys ought to know by now that I’m pretty much willing to jump on any bandwagon and try out new lip plumpers that claim to utilize some revolutionary new technology, but until or unless someone can tell me exactly what “vorexin” is and what it does, I’m going to retain my skepticism about Lip Explosion and continuing in my belief that it is nothing more than another snake charm oil! The fact that I first heard about this product at least two years ago and there has been no new information that has become available on it since that time tells me it’s just another sham.... |

One thing that ammused me was, from what I read, when it first came out, it cost over $50.00.. Now it's mid $20's range.. $27.00 on Walgreens site..
