Can I use a vitamin C serum in the morning and use a copper peptide at night......I do know that copper is not compatible with vitamin C, and vitamin C stays on your face for a couple of days after use. At the moment I use a Retinol cream at night and Vitamin C in the morning. How do I incorperate a copper peptide to this routine. Please Help! |

I am no expert on this, but I use my "c" at night and my copper in the morning. Skin biology(where I got my copper) suggests using it in the morning to protect from the sun. The C stays effectivve for something like, 72(?) hours, so I figure even if I use it at night it is still working the next day.
And from what I have heard, you can use the two together but you want to wait at least 1/2 hour in between applications as they render eachother ineffective.
Be interesting to hear what others have to say! |

Ajax, you've got it backwards!!! If one is to use both Vitamin C and a CP, it is DEFINITELY better to use the CP at night, and the Vitamin C product in the morning.
A few months ago, somebody claimed that it was okay to use them together. IT IS NOT. Nothing bad will happen if you do, but the effectiveness will be vastly diminished.
I also don't know where you got the idea that CP acts as a sunscreen. It DOES NOT. It is thought to be effective in treating burns and to remodel sundamaged skin, but it doesn't offer protection from the sun. |

Sorry, I can't help you with this one. But I remember in DermaDoctor there was an article about that. You might want to check out the web-site. |
