Hi y'all!

I'm an asian teen boy and I suffer from acne. LOL... I tried everything but nothing works.

OK, that's my first problem. Here's my most serious problem: i have fairly tanned skin (like Miyake Ken... but a bit more darker) and i want to have lighter skin... (hmm.. like Edison Chan)

And my budget is really tight too, so if you have any suggestions, i would be very happy

Hi fushionless, or should I call you Miyake Ken?Wink

My 14-year old son keeps his acne under control by washing his face morning and evening with products that contain salicylic acid. It dries up the excess oil without drying out the skin too much.

As for lightening your skin, always wear a hat or sunscreen when outside--even in the winter. Also, there are currently several threads on this forum where Asian women discuss their favorite lightening products. What works for them may work for you, but be careful. Those products might aggravate acne, or worse, conflict with the ingredients in your acne products. Mad

I would recmend using a herbal soap instead of using other things like pills and creams. because a soap you can
use regauly without having a sense that you are using medicines.

i had acne problem esspicaily pimples since teenage. and no treatment was their to cure it for long.
then i was recmended by a friend to use facefriend herbal soap, available here at local supper stores
in lahore, pakistan. I am using it my acne is been away. I dont know if it is available in other countries to.
as to my knowledge it is a local brand.

Dear Fusionless

I would suggest that you work on 1 problem at a time. Being tan is not that bad, most tan guys look rugged and sporty.

Perhaps you would want to work on the acne first. Once you got that under control, you can work on your tan if you want to.

Otherwise, the lightening products may aggravate your acne.

I heard that PROACTIV is really good for acne. Apparently even Britney Spears used it one time to get her acne problem under control. You may want to check that out.

Keep Cool
