I ordered this after trying the True loose powder mineral foundation. I have to admit that rather than use the loose minerals all over my face, I was taking a small amount and covering over tiny bits of redness. But, after I would wash everything off at the end of the day, it seemed as if the powder was helping my skin! So, I loved the idea of the 3-color concealer (and ordered it with my prize--thank you EDS!) and I love it! I use the lightest color on the inner corner of my eye, the darker color just underneath my eye and the pink color as an eyelid primer. These just seem to meld with your skin and I adore the packaging, the size and the container. Admittedly, the cost was high and without the help of my gift certificate, I'm not sure that I would have ordered on my own--but now, I would purchase it in a second! I've been using it everyday since it arrived and I won't even carry it in my makeup bag as I value it that much!! No touch-ups needed--it lasted all day! |

This sounds quite good! I'm interested in Idebenone and from what I recall the True makeup also has Idebenone in it. I'm actually thinking of trying their pressed powder as a possible alternative to my JI pressed (which I really like but want to try something new) but shade selection online is always a challenge... |

If you're normally the lightest or second lightest shade in a foundation family, then I think the fair will work for you. It seems to me that it does have very slight yellow undertones. hth |

Thank you - that really helps. I am usually the lightests, sometimes the second lightest, and it so happens that I have yellow undertones. Sounds good! |

Hi, Hollywood,
This sounds interesting--it actually helped your skin? May I ask what type of skin you have? |

Hi there,
Well, I turn 50 in April!! But, I do Ashtanga Yoga about 3-4x a week and I think that helps me look younger. I say that...because up until about 2 years ago, I had combination skin and now, it has normalized...but it isn't dry. I'm extremely fair and get very nervous about any breakout as it leaves a mark that takes months to fade. So, I was using the True mineral powder to cover a few of those marks and that was when I noticed that it was actually helping those marks. Right now, I am alternating between Erno foundation and the True foundation powder. I do believe in product rotation--so I often will rotate 2-3 products at a time. hth Please let me know if you have any other questions. |
