Hello- I work on the computer all day and the strain has caused me to develop a vertical line between my eyebrows. Is there any way short of surgery that I can control this from escalating? I've heard of the "frownies" adhesive patches that can "train the muscles of your face to relax" but am skeptical that it could work on a crease that is so pronounced.
Thanks |

I tried the frownies and they didn't work for me. I get botox. It looks great. |

I was just cleaning out a closet and found my frownies from a year ago. I tried them because at night I would wrinkle my forehead...they gave me bad headaches. I didnt use them more than a couple of times so I didnt notice a difference. |

Surgeon's tape will do the job. When I remember to use it, I wake up next day and my (very deep) furrow is almost flat.
I had Botox one time and honestly, I'd never do it again - the crunching sound of that needle going through layers of skin was more than I could bear

Yep, I second Anya's suggestion. When I use tape at night there's an immediate improvement and if you use it regularly, every other night or so it really minimises dynamic lines. You feel like a proper twit though and hope there's not an emergency in the night. |

I used Frownies a couple of times...don't anymore, just found them too annoying. One night I had plastered my face with them, and the next morning while I was still in bed, my husband kissed me on the forehead and thought I had finally done it...that my face was peeling off from all those products he sees hanging around the bathroom!!! Poor man...he just doesn't understand He's still waiting for all my hair to come out from all the coloring I do, too! |

It's made by 3M and called "Transpore". You could check for it in your local drugstore. I got mine from my surgeon after my "eye job" I'd imagine any tape would do, since it basically prevents you from frowning in your sleep and gives your muscles a rest.
