Hi everyone,
Would someone be able to tell me if my current routine is ok please?
Basically I have quite a few blocked pores and blackheads on my face. I had been using Jan Marini Bio Cleanser and the Bio Clear lotion, but I felt the Bio Cleanser was becoming a waste of money as it does nothing for your skin. Ive replaced it with Dr.H Cleansing Cream
So now my routine is I first dunk my whole face in warm water (my hair also goes in too which I think may be bad because I generally have oily hair). Spread the Dr.H Cleansing Cream all over my face and *attempt* the press and roll motion which I find very annoying!
I then keep the Cleansing Cream on my face for about 5 minutes and wash it of with cold water. I then apply the BioClear lotion to my skin.
How does that sound? Anything im doing wrong?
Ive started using Dr.H for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I haven’t notice any difference yet but then again I don’t expect to at this early stage.
Thanks |

I too like to leave the cleansing cream on my face for a few moments before I rinse it off.
I would recomend you use a toner after cleansing and before you apply your lotion, this should help to condition the skin and close up any pores |

Thanks Rosebud. Any particular Toner you would recommend? What about the Dr.H Facial Toner? |

Actually the Clarifying Toner may be better for my skin.
Should i still use the BioClear lotion as well though? I dont really like using to many products on my face as i dont think it is benefical. |

Yes both of the Dr Hauschka Toners are lovely.
The Clarifying is aimed more at oily/impure skin & the Facial toner is aimed at normal/dry skin.
Don't worry about using too many products, cleanse, tone and moisturise is a basic routine.
You should be fine with this........I think everyone here wishes their skincare regime could be as simplistic |

I'll go for the Clarfying Toner as my skin is more oily then dry.
OK with the Toner added to my routine would it be best to apply this after the BioClear Lotion or before?
Thanks |

I would apply straight after cleansing and before the lotion |
