I used it on my brows after several weeks of using Lucia on brows and lashes. I got the Dark Brown. I was wondering if the Lucia was working at all there. What a dif tinting my brows made! My brows were not only thin and sparse but light in color. So after tinting, there were hairs I had no idea were there!
You have no idea how this has changed my life!! My entire adult life I could not go anywhere or finish makeup until I had literally drawn my brows on. Now I don't need a pencil at all!!! I have eyebrows!!
It was awful being so paranoid when I had my hair shampooed at the salon that someone would wash off my brows or worse, only leave half a brow there. lol!!! Or worried in the summer about sweating my brows off. No more of that!
And it was sooooo easy to do. I'm telling ya, these boards are wonderful!
What a life saver! |

I've used it on my eyebrows too and really liked it. You do, however, have to be really careful and leave the solution on for only about a second. The first time I left it on too long, so my blonde eyebrows turned out really too dark for me. I thought they were dramatically dark and was self conscious about it, but no one mentioned it, not even my family so it probably wasn't as bad as I thought. Within a few days it toned down. Still, I am really careful now. |

Were can I buy 1000 hours lash tint & how much does it cost? It would be perfect for my long but very light eyelashes!
Thanks! |

if this ever happens again, a quickie solution to tone it down is use something with benzyl peroxide on your brows. it happened to me once at a time i was using proactiv (and very sloppy with my application) and voila! lightened it almost overnight.... realised then and there that they were light and in need of dyeing because of this in the first place. lol! ![Embarassed](images/smiles/redface.gif) |

I just received it today.
I've used it on my eyebrows, too and I liked it.
However, my lower eyelashes did not take the color as much (not as dark) as my upper eyelashes. |

For my next round, I am using the blue/Black for lashes and dark brown for eyebrows. Maybe my lashes will stand out more. |

I have blonde hair and ordered the brown last month. I used it on my brows and eyelashes, it did more for my brows than eyelashes. This week, I just received my blue-black tint. I've been using Lucia and Ardell for a month now, so the hairs are primed!!! I'm going to tint my lashes with blue black this weekend!!! Sadly, this is probably going to be the highlight of my weekend ![Laughing](images/smiles/lol.gif) |

Don't forget to try the trick of applying a hot oil treatment to your lashes BEFORE applying the lash tint (i.e.: put the lash tint on top of the hot oil treatment) for more intense and glossy results. |

You can use olive oil or jojoba oil or grapeseed oil or avocado oil -- or a mixture of any of them. Use a clean spooly (mascara) wand to apply the oil to your lashes, then apply the tint. If you don't want to do the DIY hot oil treatment, you can also use pre-made hot oil (hair) treatments that you buy at the salon or drugstore (or Sallys). The point is that the protein from the oil somehow makes the dye penetrate more deeply and evenly. (It also works FANTASTIC when dying your hair too!) |

Hehehe! I had some tint left over and tried the eyebrows....but I have the blue/black tint. I wasn't going to mention it here, but since I read so much, why not?!
Ok, it may seem obvious to others, but those of us who have ADHD tendencies...DO NOT PUT the BLUE/black tint on for brows if you are not dark skin/hair!! No matter if there is left over tint and it seems like a good idea at the moment. I put it on and (thankfully) wiped it off, but I still had blue-ish brows. The skin around my brows had that blue-ish tint. My husband came in and (after laughing) suggested I do the middle between my brows to complete the cromagan (?) look.
I was pretty upset even though my lashes looked great. My brows were just too dark for my hair color. It only lasted for about a day and the tint wore off (whew!!). I think I hide it well with concealer or my co-workers were just kind enough not to say anything (which I doubt because these sortof things are funny just not when it happens to you.)
I believe I will try the brown tint in the future for the brows because it is easier with light hairs. BUT I WILL NOT be using the blue/black for anything other than my lashes.
So now you all know my embarrassing moment with 1000 hours. It gave me eyebrows I never had or really, ever wanted.
Hopefully, no one else will needlessly suffer.... |

Your warning is too stinkin late ...I had some blue black left over from tinting my eyebrows last night, and put it on my eyebrows. Now I have blonde hair and two coal colored caterpillars above my eyes. I'm not leaving the house this weekend without sunglasses ![Cool](images/smiles/cool.gif) |

LOL Ladies..I'm sorry but it's so funny ...the eyebrow thing..I know it happened to me a long time ago when I dyed my hair black along with brows..oh my god..never will I do that again.
I was in the salon chair from 11am till closing which was 10pm trying to get my natural hair color back . Heavy condition after every stripping and many breaks as I was getting naseau from the fumes.
I don't remeber how many times they had to do it but I wasn't going anywhere with that hair..LOL
So i had a good chuckle as I can relate..actually I busted up..thnaks!
