Eye and Lip Cream.

I've been using this product regularly for lines under my eyes and have been very pleased. I'm no longer noticing significant "improvement," but it does seem to be maintaining the improvement that I originally saw after a few weeks of use.

HOWEVER, on a lark, I started using it around my lip area. I wasn't using it there originally because I did not see, or think I had, fine lines there. Well, I was either wrong about that (perhaps they were too small to be seen) or this product has additional benefits because I'm seeing a nice swelling to my lips, particularly the upper lip. The other night, I applied my liner before lip gloss like I usually do for a more dramatic effect for going out and it was almost "too much" lip! I certainly don't need to line the lips a tad bit outside the lips any more! Shock

Now I'm thinking that I have to try the sister-cream for the neck and decollete.

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:
Decleor Vitaroma Lift Total Wrinkle Action and Firmness Eye & Lip Cream (15 ml)
Decleor Vitaroma Lift Total Wrinkle Action and Firmness Eye & Lip Cream (15 ml)

New, improved formula, for skin weakened by ageing, is a complete anti-ageing skincare product specially for the delicate skin around the eyes and lips. Apply morning and evening to cleansed eye and lip contour. Dab onto the skin, working from outer corners inwards.

I'm interested in the Decleor Vitaroma line -- I think it contains retinol. But I'm wondering if it's as good as using pure retinol, as in SkinCeuticals, which I'm currently using (.5%). Have you ever tried it and can offer a comparison? Do you experience much dryness in your eye area with the Vitaroma Eye and Lip Cream? The straight retinol is hard for me to use around my eyes, since it's so drying -- my lids get crinkly before they finally peel.

You put this on your lips? What does it cost by the way?

Thanks!

Ingredients are listed below. I don't see retinol. I've never used retinol, so I can't make a comparison. I haven't seen any drying whatsoever - just the opposite.

I don't use on the entire lip. I use along the contour as instructed.

It's $41 USD on EDS.

Hi LandB - I see Retinyl Palmitate WAY down on the list of ingredients. I guess I've confused this product with Vitaroma Wrinkle Prevention Eye Contour that contains Bio-Retinol. There are SO MANY Decleor products -- it's hard to know which ones to choose!

Well, maybe contour isn't the right word (or I'm using it differenty than intended!). I use it around the entire lip area, meaning the outline of the lip, which means that the cream does go a little both on and off the lip all the way around, just not on the majority of the lips, themselves. Gosh, I hope I'm describing this well. Think of where you'd apply lip liner but you're using a fat-tipped crayon. Anyway, I think this is where the skin starts to "pucker" and the fine lines develop as we age and that tends to shrink the lips. I think this product fills/refines the lines.

And as for typing the ingredients... oh contraire! I cut and pasted from Sephora!

I've tried this on contour of eyes for about 2 months' time and could not find any significant changes. The skin firmness has not been improved and wrinkles are still there. I also tried on contour of my lips but I also can't find any different but just a cool feeling. I think I'd better try samples first before I buy any eye cream next time.

Wow - I've never felt a cool feeling at all! hmm It's funny how products work differently for folks. I agree wholeheartedly on samples. I only purchased a whole container because I had a gift certificate.
