I dont know if anyone else is a major product junky like me. I normally spend a good $500 a month. Last month was the Biomedic peels and products. Which is not used up yet!
This month:
From EDS-Obagi starter kit
From Platinumskincare-copper peptides serum and eye cream, acne drying lotion
From Lovelyskin- 3 neova products
From skinwest- MD Forte III cleanser, facial lotion for day, Rej lotion for night, Hydrating gel, and hydrating kinerase mist spray.
I alway tell myself you cant get anything else until your done with all of this, but never works. I just cant wait! Normal people find a skincare line they want to try and buy one or two things. I on the other hand want the complete line(cleanser, toner, lotion, treatment, special care, and so on). Is anyone else like this????? |

I am like that when it comes to buying Masks / masques. Right now in my closet, I have 16 different masks. I always tell myself I can not buy a new one until I use one up completely. But eventually I give in to temptation. |

I am probably not the biggest, but I can tell you I have (and I counted this morning) 8 different kinds of masks, 6 "topical" treatments in various creams and potions and 3 different face cleansers in the shower. All which I bought in the last month!. Crazy. I always think something will work better, so I give in...I then find I liked the original more than the others....eeek!. I have to stop. My SO is going to divorce me!. pss..I did take some of them out of the bathroom and put them in a box in the linen closet. I still know they are there, so easy access. My SO has moved out of my bathroom, because he claims I have too much $%#@! |

My husbamd hates it when I spend so much money on products. I have to hide it from him all the time. Same with buying shoes or anything. The only good thing about products is he never knows when you wear it like shoes or clothes, but I always say this old thing I always had it. |

Forgot to mention that this forum is so helpful since there are so many product reviews. Just from the reviews I feel like I'm trying the products myself, and if I decide to buy a product it will most likly be a good one. This well help me cut down. I'm new here and just love the site. Thanks to all of you and your kindness. |

EYE CREAMS...so many eye creams and so little time...and money! But I've learned...more $$$$ doesn't necessarily = better product! And try to get samples whenever possible |

Looking at my bathroom, and also now my wardrobe (due to lack of space in said bathroom) eye creams and masks tend to be my weakness.... I'd rather not put a $ amount on my expenditure because I'd have to add it all up - and, frankly, I think I'm better off not knowing.
I think my skincare expenses have improved though (i.e. in a downward direction). I try to get samples when possible, but, having said that, there are some members here whose reviews I implicitly trust and have no problems buying those products blind. Of course, there is also the factor of having tried probably a large proportion of the products on EDS that I have *really* **really** wanted to try already so the temptation has luckily decreased also Now I'm just enjoying reading the reviews and seeing what takes me fancy every so often and then investgating that product further. |

Hi, i am DD7, and i am a product junkie as well.
i have 2 drawers full of masks i am using (all 9 / 10 of them), and creams (3 night creams, 4 eye creams), and serums (4), and lotions(2). they are in the drawers and NOT lying around on my dressing table because i really cannot let ANYONE know how much stuff i have.
i have 3 toners i am using, 4 cleansers (2 bar of soaps, 1 washing "powder" from kose sekkesei, haha, funny, eehh?, and 1 HABA face foam) 2 exfoliant scrubs,
AND! the above are my "Active" ones only. i still have half a suitcase (no kidding, but it is "only" half full.... for now) filled with my stocks, of my active products.
AND! i just spent HK$2000 on my first EDS order, AND!!! am looking at ebay for cabin size of valmont stuff... which i am currently eye-ing.
i might as well bleed myself to death before i do the same to my wallet, lol |

BAHAHAHAHA, you all make me feel good about myself. I thought I was a junkie but I see there are much worse than me.
In the past I did stack like a nut and more than once until I got to a certain product, it wasn't fit for a human face anymore
Now I'm not that bad and I do use everything I buy and since almost all of them are good (thanks to this and other boards), I intend to finish them all.
That said, my latest obsession is my eyes which are in good state but I'm afraid I'll get all wrinkled, SO, I'm on my quest for the perfect eyecream that will keep my eyes looking 25 until I'm 60!
My second obsession is masks in general and specifically - Enzyme masks! I'm determined to try every enzyme mask (and enzyme product) I can put my hands on. |

Yeah, you're talking to a girl who has about 26 different types of lip gloss in her purse as we speak. That's not counting the ones that are in my other 4 purses, and my five train cases......
As sor skin care, I seriously think that we are going to have to add on another addition to the house. I already have my bathroom inunduated with stuff. On the counter, under the counter, in the drawers, in the caddies......it's also gone into my bedroom, all over the dresser, in quite a few drawers, on the nightstand! I have even started taking up some closet space in my fiancee's office! Anymore, and I will have to get a storage cabinet in the basement! |

Oh, I feel so much better after reading this, this is me too! It's really funny, because I spend ALOT on antiaging products...yet spend very little $$ or time on actually making myself look beautiful. I guess I am more interested in looking "healty". |

Spending money and time on makeup and hair is a personal preference. It certainly doesn't "make" you look beautiful. I'm sure you already are.......I was just brainwashed from modeling since I was 15 to never leave the house without the appropriate foundation, lipgloss, and mascara. Sigh. It was the whole "you never know who you will run into and it may lead to a job so you better look your best at all times" philosophy. That applied in NYC, but I don't think it really applies in Connecticut. Some reason, I can't stop doing it. I am now a makeup junkie for life unfortunately! |

Comparatively, I don't spend a LOT but I do purchase what I want, if you know what I mean. When I find a product that works for me I'm so thrilled I'm happy to shell out the $$$. I don't wear a lot of makeup either although I am a HUGE lippie fan. I almost swooned when I read that "26." Now I think I should go count mine. LOL. Funny thing is, my Dr. Pepper lip gloss is still my favorite!!! |

I will report back when I get to work. I will do an "official" count of my lippie stash. I have gotten myself curious now! |

"Gift with Purchase" has always lured me into buying more than I needed. I always fell into the trap of spending more to save more. |

AAAIIIIIiiiiiiiiiii!! i thought i was the only one to feel that way !!! and i ALWAYS spend more to save more, ALWAYS ALWAYS .
should i buy the regular sized make-up remover, or the double-sized one but only 1.5 times the price of the regular one ? i'd go for the big one.
if i spend HK$40 more, i can get a gift set, i would do that, even though i may not even LIKE the gift set a lot.
COME'ON !!!!! work-wise i am a well-educated, intellgent young professional with a sharp, analytical mind!!! but when it comes to buying skincare, i am this mindless little sheep who'd always spend more to save
can someone please teach me how NOT to be like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PPLLLEEEEEEAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEE |

I go in waves and lulls. I can go a good stretch of time without making any big purchases. Even when I really think I want something, I can talk myself out of it, and not buy anything at all.
Then, out of the blue, I'm just hit with the Gotta Have It bug. And in one night, I will click click click my way through the internet buying all kinds of random stuff. Probably stuff I don't need as much as the single product I talked myself out of buying the month before.
Ah well. A little retail therapy isn't going to kill me.
Though I do have to say, in response to the convo above, that I have never been sucked in by gifts with purchases. Samples sizes don't woo me. I need the full monty for the full thrill! |

LOL, I haven't tried it yet but it's high on my list Where do you buy it from?
By the way, did you see that they have an enzyme serum that costs almost 200$? I'm very tempted but it's so expensive. Have you heard anything about it?

iaimei, I can see everybody here looking around and asking "who? me?", LOL.
I'm tempted by that too but only up to a point. I wouldn't buy just because they give "something" for free, it must be something I really want to try. I like the kind of sales that give you a full product for free or a very big discount on it if you buy over X$ or a bunch of generous samples of products that really appeal to me. |

I always buy new stuff when I almost run out of the old ones. I can not stand storing so many things. Sometimes there are some sweet deals but I just do not want to buy anything. And when I want to buy it, there is no deal. This is also a waste of money. |
