Has anyone tried this foundation and does it really work? |

I use it...it does "work" but it also takes some getting used to. I returned it the first time but then (after reading posts from this forum) I decided to give it another chance. I have dry winter skin so I can only use it if I mix it with my moisturizer and do my own "mineral moisture tint" but in the summer it is nice. Less is more and blend are the keys to loving this product. It will depend on the kind of coverage you are used to as well (BE is a lighter coverage than most liquid foundations but heavier than some other mineral powder foundations). I love the eyeliners from BE and the warmth is a really good bronzer.
Good luck...let me know how you like it if you decide to give it a try. |

I did the Obagi Nuderm system last year so I could quit wearing heavy foundation. I found I was not happy with any of the old make up I was using. I have been using Bare Minerals for several months and like it better and better every day. It works well, even if I get carried away with the Obagi and start peeling again. It did take a little getting used to, but once you've suffered through the obagi, how bad can it be?
I truly love it and encourage you to stick with it. It can be a little daunting at first, but less truly is more. It seems to "absorb" into your skin and looks better than when you first apply it.
Just an opinion - no science involved! |
