hi,
i posted last week or so about a skin fiasco that severely dehydrated my skin and seemed to take down my cheeks a few millimeters in the process.
i used CremeTherapy 5 days ago, and it really noticeably and dramatically plumped up my cheeks and under my eyes, restoring more my normal high-cheekbone look.
well, since then i tried the BioElements Sensitive Skin Cleanser, which seemed a bit drying and even slightly irritating. then i tried the Absolute Moisture, which seemed to break me out a bit. either one or both of those made my face regress to most of the "flatness" i had before the CremeTherapy had plumped it up.
so i tried the CremeTherapy last night, hoping it would restore things to normal. (also, the peppermint oil in it is slightly irritating but my skin tolerated it and it was still plump the first time.) .... well, this time it did nothing! and even seemed to irritate my skin. maybe i left it on a minute more than the 10 minutes, as the forehead started to look like it was drying clay. the esthetician in the local salon said i could leave it on for up to 20 minutes, which i wouldn't do, but a minute more to cause irritation??
so i'm trying to decide between returning the mask or keeping it to try again in a few weeks. it saved my skin years ago after a very dehydrating damaging glycolic peel. but now my skin has sustained a lot more damage, and i have mild rosacea. so maybe it just can't handle the botanicals in the mask?
thanks for any feedback. for now, i've resolved to return all this and leave my skin alone. hard as that is, because i'm convinced it needs healing nutrients to help it recover from the Phyto+ reaction a month or so ago.... |
