New skincare line by John Hopkins which looks good but would love to hear some reviews first! I just bought Shiseido future solutions cream and that wasn't cheap so hoping I love that!

I went to Sephora last weekend, got some samples and information for Cosmedicine line. The following info was what I was told:

Cosmedicine was develped by Klinger Advanced Aesthetics and Sephora. John Hopkins was involved in "testing" during different stages. Every product got John Hopkins "Approval". What does it mean? John Hopkins test all of their products and check every single word they put on the box. Everything it claimed HAS TO BE TRUE to get John Hopkin's approval. I was told their signature product is Medi-Morphosis Self-Adjusting Exfoliator. People often under / over exfoliate their skin and this product is SO SMART to work to the correct exfoliation stage for all different skin types. The whole line just came out about few weeks ago.

I got the SMART exfloiator and other products. I'll begin to use them by this weekend and will report after I finished all samples.

PS: I used 2 jars of Future Solution and it's not rich enough for me. 2 years ago I did not really care / check if a certain skin care product worked. It's a daily routine for me so I really can not tell if it worked or not.

I actually have been using the product for about a month. I have normal/combo skin which tends to be on the oiler side towards the end of the day.

I absolutely LOVE this line of skin care, its the one of the 1st things I've found that I can wear throughout the day and it doesnt leave me oily at the end of the day. The price however is a natural deterrent for ANYONE'S budget. It is a little on the pricey side but the results are AWESOME... My skin looks and feels amazing at the beginning of the day through the end and the Mega-dose acts as a foundation primer so my makeup SLIDES on and stays on.

The products I've been using daily are, the cleanser, mega-dose, and the medi-matte moisturizer (which is AWESOME), and I use the exfoliator 2x a week.

When I went to sephora they gave me gigantic samples of the line, everything is amazing!

I recommend anyone to try this line, I'm in LOVE with it.

I am thinking of trying the line. Sephora sells a kit that is called - "First Measures: Oiliness & Enlarged Pores". In this forum there is a review on a specific product and one other on the line but i am wondering if anyone else has tried it? Thnx!

Okay ... is it really "John Hopkins" ... or do you mean "Johns Hopkins" Laughing

The former may just be some guy ... the latter is a famous research university/hospital. Laughing

Sorry ladies ... I just couldn't resist! Laughing

I tried cosmedicine but I didn't like it. The medi-matte made my smashbox primer flake off. And the opti-mologist eye cream didn't do anything for my fine lines. I did however like their face wash.

I have had much better luck with Replenix and La roche posay.

Has anyone tried the eye cream. Sephora is giving away full size samples with any purchase. I can honestly say for once that I don't NEED anything right now...except for eye cream...URGH!!!!

Let me know what you think of it.

I got the same email from Sephora.

Yes, I did try it and I thought it was a little waxy feeling and didn't soak in. I have very dry skin and for something not to soak into the skin, tells me it's full of wax. I prefer the Skin Bio Night Eye Premier with CPs for the eyes. The Skin Bio eye cream soaks right in and doesn't leave a film over the skin which is what the Cosmedicine did to me.

just got the Basic skin regime. I have very very sensitive skin, allergic to any strong chemicals or perfumes. I haven't tried the exfoliater yet but the wash/serum & moisturizer were nice. a little weird - the cleanser you are supposed to use on a dry face which I can see myself using too much. the serum is brownish which is odd. the moisutizer went on nice - I like it! time will tell!!

hi - 2nd day using cosmedicine and I have to change my vote - it is causing my cheeks to get all bumpy and red and causing my eyes to be irritated. it is going back to Sephora - going back to using Philosophy I guess
