I have been using Obagi since last April. Really happy with the results. I had a blue peel in January...not that much of a difference. I have had milia on my cheeks for ever. I thought the peel and the use of Obagi would help but it has not. Not sure where to go from here. Has anyone had the same problem and if so how did you get rid of the milia? It is driving me crazy....Did anyone ever have them removed? Please help.... |

I have Milia on my cheeks that have been there for about 8 months and the only thing that has started to help is proactive. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and they are shrinking but not disappearing. I am going back to the dermatologist to have her lance them (it is the only way to remove them...I scar myself when I try). |

Thanks for the reply.....Have you had them lanced before? If so, does it leave red marks or scarring? |

I had a bunch lanced on my eyes and cheeks. It leaves a tine red mark for less than a day...it was gone by the next day (maybe even a couple of hours later). It does not hurt at all and it takes 2 seconds. I just hate paying the copay to have it done each time because I know they will come back in a couple of weeks. My dermatologist suggested microdermabrasion (which I did) and it really works. I am going to go back to them after my vacation...!
Good luck...I know how frustrating they are. |

The few times that I had gotten milia I have been able to remove it with glycolic acid products. It does take time but after a while of spot treating they softened up and I was able to just gently squeeze them out almost like a pimple. |

I have about 20 on each cheek and I have tried to soften them and squeeze and they develop large hard bumps underneath the skin that hurts! In fact I did it last night. I got 2 out with no problem but the ones around those are now painful, big and red. It is a never ending battle! I am calling right now to schedule a dermatology appointment. I wish I know why this is happening!!! |

I am sooo frustrated with the milia on my cheeks...I have tried everything and nothing seems to work....I really thought the 3 level peel done by my PS would have helped..I was referred to a site regarding a product that supposed to work but it was $95 and I need more proof before purchasing..... |

I have never found a product that makes them go away...just makes them smaller or much bigger. The hard part for me is I do not have oily skin or "acne prone" skin. I just get these bumps on my cheeks and they appear no matter what products I use. The last derm visit I took all my products in and had her go through each one...! She said they were all fine and I still keep getting these things. |

I just can't believe there is nothing out there that can help.. Obagi (which I use) exfoliates which you would think would help...This is extremely frustrating...I am going to see if they will lance them but if they keep coming back, what is the use? Someone out there has to have a solution....Pam |
