Looking for a body scrub that lightens the skin tone, any recommendations?

Thanks

I don't know about one that can lighten skin tone but I prefer to use gloves instead of an actual body scrub, they are easier, quicker, less messy and far more effective Very Happy
Also I can use them with my favourite soaps and shower gels Very Happy

I don't use one that lightens the skin but, I love Origins "True Grit." I believe they do make one that supposedly lightens skin tone--I don't know the name but have a sample of it. It's somewhat gold in color, stopped by an Origins counter and ask for a sample if you wish. Smile

i make my own body scrub (salt scrub). I found the recipe online. Its basically just bath salt, carrier oil and EOs. It is pretty nice, because the salt smooths my skin out and the EOs helps with my back acne.

I use a homemade scrub too, it's just brown sugar and camellia oil. It smells yummy. Sorry, I've never seen one that lightens skin.

I've used alot of different kinds, but I just started making my own, too Very Happy --brown sugar, evoo, essential oil. Don't know of any lightening ones, though--I often scrub by body so I can make my skin darker with a nice self-tanner...in the summer, anyway!

I used the Origins "never have a dull moment" (not sure about the name) before and it was ok. It claims to lighten the skin tone but it didnt work for me...anyway you can give it a try, i found it quite mild and smell nice Very Happy

The best scrub I have ever used in my life is Sisley's Lavender & Rosemary Exfoliator. Nothing else comes close for me in terms of the resulting smoothness and ease of use. The scent is very refreshing too. Unfortunately, it's extortionately expensive so I only splash out on it ever now and again. Otherwise I'd use nothing else.

I'm determined to try exfoliating gloves, though, like rosebud. If they work well, then they'd save a heck of a lot of money.

I use Aveeno Soy Body Scrub. It is a skin brightening scrub. I think it claims this, because it does eliminate the dead skin cells, therefore your "true" skin color shines through

I use Epsom Salt with any body moisturizer (before shower) or with an olive oil soap (in the shower). Very basic and works great for me.

like a few others I make my own a couple of times a week.

EEVOO, salt or sugar or coffee and EOs, but I don't mix EO with coffee.

I've found that if I use a mixture with sugar in it's a bit harsh, but the solution was to wet my body first - and the sugar dissolved whilst massaging it in...

so I'm thinking it's a 3 in one thing... EEVOO moisturizes very well, sugar surface exfoliates and then turns into glycolic acid for a deeper exfoliation... What do you think of my logic gals? Am I or am I

Coffee + EEVOO is a bit messy but gives a rich lovely aroma and it feels good - and it's supposed to help with cellulite...

I like the salt one because the salt is so finely grained, and if I have any cuts or anything it stings a bit and I imagine that it is helping... Does it?

The greatest thing with these scrubs is that my dry legs are soft and moisturized for 2 days after... I like that. This is usually a part of my pampering Sunday rutine... Dancing

I love Bare Escentuals “Escentual Body Polish” – the scent is to die for and it foams so you’re exfoliating and cleansing in one step.

My favourite body scrub is actually an Avon one, the brown sugar scrub from their african spa range. If my skin needs a particularly good scrub I use it on dry skin and then rinse off. It's quite often on offer as well. Exfoliating gloves are also good and can be used with your normal shower gel/wash. Not sure if either of these methods actually lighten skin tone though!

I use the Body Shop's Cucumber/Green tea Salt scrub for special occasions. On a daily basis I use the body "gloves" and also mix CSRx Polishing Grains with liquid soap or rice bran oil to exfoliate/cleanse. Great for elbows and knees.

I'm using Origins Ginger body scrub right now... I love it! I received it as a Christmas gift and would definitely purchase after it's used up.
