last week I had abscess inside my lip. it is hard to use lip balm. I try some olive oil by cotton stick and apply one lip. It is good, and all days my lip is soft and good.
Olive oil is good. |

I agree! I've used it on my lips, as a face oil and to condition my hair - oh I put it on my pasta, too. hehe! |

Yes EVOO is great. I did a search on MEDLINE when I was considering buying camellia oil and found an article saying topical EVOO applied after sun exposure actually minimized DNA damage. It is healing and great for skin and lips. |

I agree, olive oil is good to use in skin care. I use it when I go to the beach to moisturize my skin, just put it over sunblock. As for lips... I don't like the taste of olive oil... but if you are OK with the taste of olive oil, I would recommend it. |

I am addicted to Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I litterally smother all my food with it, I will have to pay attention to how my lips feel after a meal now!!
Thanks for the tip. |

Thanks. Now I use olive oil twice a day. First before I went out to work and second before I go to bed.
It is really nice. Share together. And I am going to use some sweet almond oil too. It suits my skin. : |

Is that the one I use for cooking? It is wonderful for cooking but the smell is no good to me. |

Yeah - it's the same kind you use for cooking! It does have a unique smell...you could try using a different kind of oil if the smell bothers you - maybe jojoba. |
