This board is making me crazy! I have never paid so much attention to my skin before, even in high school. I just noticed that I am getting the beginnings of a crow's foot (one line) on each eye. It might just be a natural bending point or something, (I'm only 23) but it made me realize I need to start preventing wrinkles now. I also have actual wrinkles under my eyes that I have always had, I think it's just the way my eyes are made, but I'd like to minimize them. I also have pretty bad, hereditary dark circles (not dark skin, bluish under the skin) that are exacerbated by my college sleep/partying schedule.
I'm looking for an inexpensive eye treatment I can use at night that will actually do something (I've dabbled before because of the dark circles, but never saw results) and not break me out. Does such a product exist? I'd like to be able to buy it in a drugstore. Tall order, I know! Any suggestions? |

Cloud9, have you ever noticed that even babies have wrinkles? LOL Just trying to inject some perspective into this- at the grand age of 23, I'm sure your skin is lovely.
As far as the inexpensive dark circle product goes, how about the one that is on the DIY thread?

I have seen comments about this recipe, recommending that a smaller amount be made than the recipe calls for.
Have a fab weekend! |

Thanks! Yeah, I know I'm probably worrying too much, but I guess it's never too early for prevention! Maybe I just need to find one with sunscreen that's non oily and non break out for the daytime? I'll also try the gelatin for the circles, what a great tip! I might even already have some. |

I know you said that you would like an inexpensive product but that may not achieve what you are looking for. Some of the brands that appear to be expensive really aren't because you only need such a tiny amount that they last quite a long time. If I were your age again and looking for a preventative, then I would probably go for Cellcosmet or Juvena or a brand like that as it will prevent the damage that occurs later in life. Invest in good quality now and it will pay off in the end. Perhaps you could get some samples to try. |

Not sure where you live, but Sephora stores have TONS of samples. All you need to do is ask for them! Its a great ~and cheap way of trying new stuff without folking out the cash!! |

cloud_9 where do you live? If UK, Liz Earle does a wonderful eye cream, great for lines/dark circles, around about £10 I think. |

Thanks guys! I live in Texas (US), but the closest Sephora is at least 40 miles away. I may just hold off my search for a few months, I'm moving to Austin then and it will be much easier shopping-wise! It sounds like this might be quite a job to find the right one. |

Hey, another Texas girl! I love the Sephora in Austin over by the Arboretum. It has tons of good stuff and loads of samples. You want something light that will sink in and not run off in the humidity here. So try a few samples and see what holds up. I love the MD Formulation VitA Plus, but I have older skin that needs a jumpstart, it definately stays put in the heat. |
