Does anyone know if its possible to get rid of this? I got a pair of black trouser pant back from alterations and I notice iron shine marks here and there on the pant, looks ugly..usually I have them skip the ironing but I figured if they pressed it using their machines, this wouldn't happen, but it did. Does this mean that when I get them dry-cleaned that any type of pressing or ironing should be avoided?? |

I do not know how to get rid of shine but i do know how i used to iron my step dads suit pants so they wouldnt get a shine.
Turn the pants inside out. Put a towel over the part you are about to iron. Iron over the towel so the iron never directly comes in contact with your pants. (you could use something not as thick as a towel if it is not working for getting wrinkles out of your material)
I wouldnt allow anyone else like the dry cleaners iron them. |
