I'm 33 and I want to find a product that works! My main complaints are acne scarring around my laugh lines, and age spotting above my lips (it looks like a faint mustache--no hair, just spots).
Any miracle cures out there for acne scarring and age spots? |

Creme de La Mer helped me with my old acne scars. |

No miracle cures I am afraid. However, glycolic acid products or peels should help at least a little bit. I would also suggest incorporating a vitamin C serum to help with healing/fading acne marks. |

Microderm from my dermatologist really helped mine last year. I'm going to do another series after my this outbreak clears up. I have also found Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel to be working wonders. It drys a little but it is basically getting rid of a few layers of skin and with that skins goes the dark scars. |

I have the same thing - hyperpigmentation is the "moustache" you are experiencing...do you wax there?
The only thing that has helped me with it (and mine is really stubborn) is retin-a (the real stuff, not the generic) alternating with tri-luma.
the heat and "trauma" from the wax can exsaserbate the problem, so i try to wax as infrequently as possible...there is no point in waxing when it looks like a moustache as a result!
The retin-a (you need to give skin at least a three day break before waxing, then only with the gentlest wax you can find, on the lowest temp)
is the best thing i could do for the scars, fine lines, and dark shadowing...no natural, OTC thing touches mine |

not miracles but the Epidermx microdermabrasion scrub and Silkia camellia oil have greatly reduced my acne scarring (both brown spots and depressed pits) and forehead fine lines. I don't have age spots so can't say if they help there. |
