Neither my friends nor myself have used these two brands. Probably they are not popular in Canada but I would like to try too. |

Hi,
I did not know if you wanted a reccomendation for a day cream with an SPF or not. I cannot live without Dr. Denese SPF 30 Defense Day Cream. It is a Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB matte finish that glides on like silk, also this is tinted and oil-free, and zinc oxide based. The tint is just enough, that on some days I do not apply a foundation. QVC sells 2oz @ $49.00, but I usually try to get it on Ebay.
This is the only SPF 30 that does not leave a white residue on my skin. |

I have tried several of the Juvena products and my favourite is the Juvedical range which I still use from time to time along with other brands. Both the Juvedical day and night creams are light but very moisturising. I am sure you would like them. |

Hindoss,
Your skin type sounds alot like mine, only I am 45 yrs young.
Right now I am on the hunt for a new night routine myself. At the present I am trying to use up some product overload.
In the past I have tried many different skincare lines, drug store to high priced dept stores. La Mer is one of the lines that I did sort of fall in love with, but not the $$$$.
After doing much research, I think I am going to try the Decleor line for now based on the reviews that I have read and my skin type.
But remember that the best prevention is a SPF of 30 or higher.
Good Luck. |

I think both Babor and Jurvena are popular, it is just that they are not as "commercial" as many brands.
Jurvena has been around for sucha long time. I am 39 and I can remember my mother using them when I was a kid. I am trying a Jurvedical serum sample at the moment and love it. the Jurvedical line is definately one of the top 3 that I am waiting to buy full size of.
Which Babor line did the EDS ladies recommend? I have used a few Babor products, but not the moisturizers.
I believe that all of the brands they sell at the shop associated with this site are chosen because they are not "commercial brands" - often brnds only available through salons. |

tiger_timm you are right. These are brands not being advertised or what you said "commercial brands". I got more knowledge from you guys and I am prepared to try these brands. |

Hindoss - here's my take on this (thought I'd reply back here rather than via PM so you can get other people's opinions as well):
Cleanser: I don't think you need the two cleansers unless you want to have two so you can have a choice of which to use. One of those would be enough. I do like the Decleor Cleansing Oil but have actually found the Babor cleansing oil to be a bit better (but this may just me personal preference - they are both great at removing makeup etc)
Toner: love the Phytomer Face Dew
Exfoliant: Microfoliant is fantastic as well. I can use this daily but some people have reported that it dries them out if used daily, so just watch this one.
Eye care: Murad Essential C SPF15 is a great SPF eye cream for day. My recommendations for night would be Babor Sensational Eyes, Thalgo Revitalising Eye Cream or Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream. I have not tried the Juvedical eye serum (or any Juvedical products actually) so I can't comment on that one. Make sure using that and another eye cream of the top is not too much.
Mask: I love the Renewing Pack as a pick-me-up mask. I'm not familiar with the others you listed but I would suggest that you also get a deep cleansing mask.
Day/Night: again, I can't comment on Juvedical as I haven't tried it. I've read good reviews though. I have similar skin to yours and I am currently using IS Clinical Pro Heal serum in the morning followed by Photolagen (though I finished my sample) followed by sunblock. At night I'm using IS Clinical Active serum (sample) and I follow that by whatever moisturiser I feel like on the night or whatever sample I want to try
ETA: If I were you I would also add a vitamin C serum, unless one of the Juvedical serums you listed falls into that category. |

I have always bought mine from EDS, but also got some samples from PureSkinFormulations. Since your skin is normal to combination and also on the sensitive side, I would suggest that you start slowly with a serum that is not too heavy and also 10% in concentration (at first) and see how it goes. I really like the texture of the Vivier serum but there are also Skinceuticals, Cellex-C, CellularSkinRx, IS Clinical, PureSkinFormulations etc Jan Marini also makes some but these have a different type of vitamin C in it which is not as effective, but more stable and also gentler on sensitive skin. If you have *very* sensitive skin then this will be a good choice, otherwise I'd go with one of the l-ascorbic C serums that I mentioned above. |

Hmmm, I'm from Australia. I've only ever used Olay with the SPF 15, it's zinc oxide based. I don't seem to have any problems with it on my skin and the price is right as I don't have much cash to throw around, also don't want to buy off the net.
Wondering if this is okay.

Thanks Caspers Mum
To be honest i don't know it keeps changing it can be normal /dry sometimes combination. Some blackhead on my nose .i have sensitive eyes+fine lines.
I don't want to go for any mature skin line products right now tough im 30
Maybe something which can keep my face healthy and maintain firmness for the futur.
I would prefer to try the best products which had been used by the members of this forum |
