This is one of Decleor's best products....it's made me complexion much clearer than usual and it's a 'must have' product for everybody. I usually have the odd blemish on my face and using Neroli oil for just a few weeks has really made a dramatic improvement in my skin condition. It's smoother, brighter and less spot prone. Fantastic!
But I'd like some directions on how frequently Decleor's Baum Essential should be used. A friend told me to only use the baum for two weeks at a time at night time. . . is this right? If so, what happens after two weeks of baum essential use? Shall I just go back to using Hydra-Floral cream?
Any suggestions?
Thanks:) |

Hi Yazzy,
I love Decleor Aromessence Neroli too. And I so agree with you it's one of the best thing for skin. I remember reading some article, even Dr Perricone (whose own skin care line is way over priced, IMHO) recommended this oil.
Actually, I'm addicted to all aromatherapy stuff. Blame it on my mom, she's such a "smell good, feel good" woman. When I was still a clumpsy teenager, she came to me every night to put on oil and cream on my face and body.
As for Decleor Essential Balm, I use it at night whenever my skin feels congested for about a week than switch to something else, not because of any special purpose but mainly because I'm a beauty junkie. It's hard for me to stay with one thing for too long. So for this question, I'm waiting for answers from the experts like you are...

Yazzy,
When I was researching Decleor's ingredients, I came across their UK website, which states that Essential Baum should be used for only two weeks at a time. It doesn't explain why, but someone (I think on this forum) said that it "decongests" your skin, and that's why you can't use it all the time. But I still don't get it--what's wrong with long-term decongesting?
Anyway, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the essential balm for the way it looks, feels and smells--and especially the way it makes my skin look clear and glowing in the morning. But after about two weeks of consistent use, I don't get that glow.
So then I switch to one of the other Baums for a while, and when I return to the Essential Balm, the morning glow comes back!

Thanks for the info about this. I guess I'll just have to use baum essential for two weeks at a time and switch to a different Decleor baum after this.
I now have an excuse to buy another baum from Eds...! Although recently, I sent a big order from Eds for loads of Decleor stuff and I think I'm addicted to the stuff! |
