I've been using the JI undereye concealor in the #2 combination for blueish circles. It has two concealor colors and while the pink works OK, the whiter color is too bright for my skin, even though I'm really pretty pale.
I have hereditary dark circles that are better if I'm getting enough rest and eating well, but they are always there. They are darker, blueish circles.
What is the best concealor for these kind of circles, especially if you don't want to wear a foundation?
I've heard really good things about the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclate. |

I would use the Jane Iredale as a base to cover any dark shadows and then the Yves St Laurent Touche Eclait over the top as a high lighter.
Also many brands (including Tesco Barbara Daly, MAC, Boots No 7 etc) have brought out their own imitations of the Touche Eclait. |

I do exactly what Rosebud suggested. I like the YSL but it's not really a concealer. It's a highlighter and it can help detract from the circles but IMO won't give you enough coverage by itself. |

It isn't concealer, but under the DIY thread Darren reccommended using a Knox geletin treatment to help with dark circles. If you haven't read about it yet then it might be worth trying. I'd be interested in hearing about someone who tried it and how it works. My little one inherited her fathers dark circles. They are very noticable when she doesn't sleep, is sick, etc. It doesn't matter now, but as she grows up I'm definitely keeping this in the 'ol'momsbago'tricks'. |

I've been battling hereditary dark circles my whole life. I use Bobbi Brown's 3 part corrector, concealer, powder set and its the best I've tried so far. |

I also inherited my father's dark circles...he's dark-skinned Italian so they hardly show on him, but on my light olive skin, if I don't wear concealer, they are downright scary-looking Getting enough sleep, exercise and eating right help, but they are always there. What I found works for me are: Bobbi Brown's Corrector, YSL Touche Eclat on top, and dust with Pure Luxe Original Powder Eraser or Banana Split corrector powder. Also, the Line Eraser from Pure Luxe makes a nice base for all this. It sounds like alot of product for one area, but it really looks natural and better than anything else I've tried. hth |

i've always had dark circles, i remember changing schools when i started highschool and kids who hadn't met me before thinking i was "tuff" because i always had black eyes
over the years what i've found to be best is colour correctors in lavender-y shade covered by regular concealer, then i use a mineral powder foundation on top of that.
the first colour corrector i ever used was a lavender cream by avon, but then they discontinued it (always that way with the HG it seems) and then i spent years and years wandering in the make-up wilderness never finding one (though i guess to be fair i never looked THAT much further than DS brands) just a few months ago i discovered that Quo makes a corrector/concealer quadpack and one of the shade is lavender.
so yes, short version, correcter, concealer, set.
i hope this helps someone
oh and the idea behind it is that the lavender "brightens" the area. |

Hi!
I do the same as Mabsy and Rosebud - JI concealer then touche eclat (or Laura Mercier secret brightener) over the top.
(I have the opposite problem - the peachy colour is too dark but the lighter colour is spot on - wish she'd do them with just the one shade!! ) |
