My psf vitamin C sample changed color to a yellow/brown. I've had it only for a couple of weeks. Does that mean it went bad? I was thinking about re-ordering but now I'm not sure. |

I'd pm Darren turning brown means it has oxidized a bit may still be good but it should not happen after a few weeks. My 20% that I bought around X-mas still is completely clear. |

Someone already just PM'd me about this thread & asked me to respond. The sample pumps contain a metal spring & ball bearing inside the chamber. If serum sits in the chamber for a few days, because of the low pH, the acidity of the product in the chamber can react with the metal spring in the pump chamber & turn a darker color.
This can be easily mitigated by clearing the chamber with a few pumps into a wastepaper can or down the drain. This does not happen if the sample is used daily, only if it sits between uses.
The full sized product is in glass packaging with glass pipettes. There are no metal parts in the full sized serum bottle, which is why Sharky's is still clear, even though she bought it at Christmas. I hope that helps!

I admit that I stop using it for 3 days. I gave it a few extra pumps and it was still yellow. I ended up pumping the bottle until it was empty(like 10 pumps) and it was all yellow. I'm upset because I wasn't able to use it long enough to decide if I shold reorder or not. |
