Has anyone tried/used this. It seems to be highly recommended by dermatologists. They say it contains the best formulation of the ingredient mexoryl, which blocks both burning UVB and wrinkle-causing UVA rays.
I have sensitive skin and usually opt for chemical free sunscreens and would love to know if anyone has tried this.
Thanks! |

I use it. It was great for Obagi b/c is is light but really effective and with my really sensitive, red and peelie skin from retin a, it didn't bother me at all. |

I use it, its fantastic! Feels a bit oily when you first apply but sinks in and skin stays matt all day long |

I use it too but it's oily on my skin, unlike carolb69's experience. Since I'm very fair, I took the suggestion here last year to dust with plain old cornstarch (which won't degrade its effectiveness like most makeup will), and it cuts the shine. I was surprised how nice cornstarch is -- like the most finely-milled powders (no graininess). I mainly use LRP when I go without makeup, and use Avene Spray or Creme SPF 50+ when I do wear makeup. The Avene isn't as effective against UVA, but it's my understanding that the metallic ingredients that are ubiquitous in most makeup destabilize Mexoryl (LRP's active ingredient), whereas Tinosorb (Avene's active) is more stable. |

I use the Fluide Extreme (60) and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin at all. I even use it around my eyes on days I'll be getting a lot of sun and it's been fine. It does make me a little shiny though. |
